I really enjoyed the whole book, my spouse and I purchased a home in Panama in 2017 and basically went through and are still going through the same kind of issues.
The book was well written and I enjoyed the story line in the beginning. Getting towards the end of the book it was just getting to where I didn't want to read anymore. But for the truth on this book hear it made me definitely she Panama and a totally different way. I was thinking about moving there after retirement part time, but I know I have to research more now and if I did move there I would definitely rent and Buy

I couldn’t put it down. What strength Diane demonstrates in her captivating story. Her descriptions are vivid, I saw the beauty of Panamá through her eyes and her determination to overcome the odds against her. Her knowledge of the Panamanian culture is excellent.
As someone considering Panama as a retirement home I found Diane's story very educational. I loved reading even the small details of her daily life in Panama.
