Corporal

Corporal follows a Marine named Joy who spends his days drinking with fellow Marine Oliver, hanging out in bars, and indulging in any vice that he can get his hands on, all while wondering what kind of future he could possibly be making for himself. When Oliver suffers a bitter break-up, Joy finds himself at odds with the person who wronged his a flashy, beautiful woman named Delight.

Robert DeSimone Jr. is an author and full-time fire inspector. He spends much of his free time building his business as a writer and spending time with his wife and two dogs.

He released his first work, a short story called "Corporal" in 2021. In 2022, he released science fiction/mystery novella Siege, horror short story collection Midnight Knock: A Horror Anthology, and comedy/western novella Mad World: A Comedy.
