I know this is intended for children or young adults, but it is a great introduction and "reader's digest" version of the world's religions.

A Journey through History Series
The Story of World Religions
A clear, useful and rewarding feature of this nonfiction book is the wonderfully detailed timelines of each religion. The world’s has nearly too many religions and is almost to overwhelming to comprehend. This book does a fantastic job at introducing the various types in an overview with basic information that is easily comparable to one another and easy to use as a springboard when researching. The text is very effortlessly adaptable to middle or high school learners. Wow, this book’s information is part of the 6th grade curriculum in Texas and this book is chocked full of excellent data, statics and fact that is extremely easy to adapt to the teaching platform. I am not a religious expert, so I cannot comment on the validity of the works and for there is not bibliography page. The lack of citations is concerning, thus and so the validity of the book comes into question.

Interesting little book Written for kids, I think, but full of information about world religions. This country is so Christian-centric in this country. Fascinating to read about religions around the world.
