The Sadhu Sundar Singh Collection Volume I: At The Master's Feet, Reality & Religion, The Search After Reality

Rate this book
Sadhu Sundar Singh, also known as “The Apostle of the Bleeding Feet”, was a famous Christian ascetic and itinerant preacher from India. After he encountered Christ in a vision as a teenager, he decided to serve as a monk owning nothing more than a set of clothes, a thin blanket and a New Testament. He travelled barefoot preaching the Gospel in tiny villages and towns across India, Nepal and Tibet, and endured much suffering and persecution for sharing his faith.

Sundar Singh passed away in 1929 at the age of 39. The many years of living as an ascetic in extremely harsh conditions, coupled with the many persecutions he faced, finally took a toll on his body.

This book is a collection of three of Sundar’s books. “At the Master’s Feet” was written in 1922 and possibly Sundar’s most famous work, along with “Reality & Religion” (1924) and “The Search After Reality” (1925).

Many of the truths outlined in Sadhu Sundar Singh’s books were revelations he received from God and were used by him in his sermons and addresses in Europe, America, Africa, Australia, and Asia. His constant prayer was that those who read his books with a prayerful and unbiased mind, would benefit from the truths revealed in them and be equally blessed as he had been.
