Another amazing read in the Second Chance Harbor Series, Colton and Remi’s story was hard to put down. Colton is grumpy and stubborn and keeps his town free from trouble as an officer of the law.
Remi is a driving force; she works hard to achieve her goals. She is caring and sees the good in all.
Together they are perfect, but they do not see it that way. The doubts, angst, history, and heat are there in force. Together with lots of feels, I almost read this book in one sitting.

אני חייבת לציין שלא ממש התחברתי לכל ענייני המדיטציה, המלאך מיכאל ששומר על השוטרים, והיוגה של רמי, אבל זה מתאזן עם כל מיני בדיחות ורמיזות סקסיות על "המיצים" של רמי וכו'. היה לי כיף לקרוא כחלק מהבינג' שאני עושה על הסדרה הזו, ספר מהנה וסקסי. יש גם התמקדות בסדרה הזו בענייני עסקים ושיווק של כל מיני בתי עסק בעיר, וזה גם מעניין. אני ממשיכה הלאה לספר הרביעי.

There is nothing I love more than losing myself in the pages of a fantastic book. Remi and Colton’s story was the best kind of feel good romance, I read this in one sitting and have ZERO regrets.
There is something incredibly sweet and special about 𝗟𝗨𝗖𝗞𝗬 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘. On the surface it’s a grumpy/sunshine, forbidden romance read but once you get into it, you realize it’s about a helluva lot more than that. Remi is a woman after my own heart. She’s been through a lot but maintains a level of positivity that is admirable. Colton is a tall glass of blue collar hotness that turns my book loving crank. I enjoyed watching them come together and could not get over how right it was and how sexy they were together.
𝗟𝗨𝗖𝗞𝗬 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 has made my Top Ten list of 2022 and just might be my new favorite out of Lea’s books. I’m giving it the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval and highly recommend you read it. TBR and Enjoy!

If you are looking for a read with all the feels look no further than Remi and Colton’s story in Lucky Chance (Second Chance Harbor #3). If second chance romance is your jam this book should certainly be on your radar.
Colton Castle is the gruff police officer who turns up to every bit of trouble in the neighbourhood, he may be grumpy but he sure looks hot in that uniform but it takes a bit if trouble of Remi’s doorstep for her to see the other side of this man.
Problem is he should get off limits after all he is my sisters ex……..
Colton isn’t worried about lines being crossed but it’s going to take a lot of pushing and pulling to convince Remi to give hm a chance so will she cross that line…. One click to find out.

The Second Chance Harbor series just keeps getting better with each book! The community that Lea created has me wishing that all of these people and places were real so I could go visit.
Colton & Remi….they’re the perfect together. I really enjoyed watching them learn about each other. Neither was as they expected and watching them come together and stop fighting their attraction had me swooning. These two have plenty of heat between them, but the emotions behind it made it so beautiful.
I couldn’t put my kindle down until I got to see them find happiness.

This had a little forbidden aspect with Colton and Remi being off limits to each other but the chemistry and connection can't be denied. I practically devoured this because I needed to see them work it out and give in to their passion.

Remi & Colton are FIRE together. They are passionate, stubborn & they have mountains and valleys of doubt. So you know they will be butting heads often!! This has combustible chemistry, sexual tension, and angst, all paired with so much shared history that you can feel the depth of the relationship. Lucky Chance is a full mind, body and soul read. Now this book right here is an outstanding grumpy/sunshine (one of my favorite tropes) that had me instantly invested, knowing that it's from one of my favorite authors? Sign me up and gimmie the feels. Remi is the opposite of Colton she likes to do yoga, meditate and eat healthily. She's had a crush on him for a while, nothing could happen though because he was her sister's boyfriend. As an adult Colton is a cop when there is a string of robberies in the area near Remi's store. He ends up spending more time at her shop while there he didn't think that he would get feelings for his ex's sister. While reading this I couldn't help but smile at the banter and cry at the emotional stuff. Colton and Remi are amazing together, their relationship felt natural and real, and they are able to help heal one another into something beautiful

I loved Remi and Colton's story. It's very sweet and emotional but I loved how Remi would brighten up grumpy Colton. I loved how they got together. I loved how they're complete opposites but they balance each other out. Every single time they interacted with each other made my heart flutter for both of them. The love and attraction they have for one another are apparent and undeniable.
I can't wait for Ryan and Hailey's story next.

Opposites attract?
Remi is a bit of free spirit. She consciously makes choices in her life that make her feel good - she does yoga, meditates and eats as cleanly as possible. She's all about maintaining a positive outlook and trying to see the best in people. She's had a crush on her sister's highschool boyfriend Colton for years. However, while she is sunshine and light, he's buttoned-up and often tense. As a local law enforcement officer, he's seen some pretty bad things. He wants to protect Remi's light from ever being dimmed by those types of occurrences.
As kids, Remi was just his girlfriend's little sister. Now that she's all grown up, Colton begins to notice Remi in a different way. When a rash of vandalism and robberies break out in the area where Remi's store is located, Colton feels his protective instincts kick in. He has convinced himself that it is his responsibility to keep his ex's sister safe. Being around her for the longest amount of time since they were teenagers, he begins to see Remi in a new way. Her light and happy outlook help him relax and feel a bit better about the world. He will do everything he can to protect this precious gift.
These two characters balance each other well. While Remi seems a bit starry-eyed and flighty at times, she's actually a very savvy business woman who runs a successful juice shop. Raised in difficult circumstances, Remi has learned behaviors that help her remain calm and centered, bringing joy into her life. As Colton shares these practices with her, he begins to realize this, she, is exactly what he needs in his life. In turn, Colton's protective and steady nature bring Remi the security she was lacking in her early life. Together, these two seeming opposites make one really great couple. What could be a bit of a silly romantic comedy is, in fact, a heart-felt second chance romance. Ms. Coll's characters are unique and fully-formed, making them relatable to the reader. Her somewhat fictionalized world of Annapolis is populated with a variety of fun and interesting characters, several of whom make an appearance in the story.
Four stars for this second chance romance.

Smalltown romances are the sweetest ones to read and Lucky Chance hits the spot. This book is the third book in Ms.Coll's Second Chance Harbor series and it was a joy to read. She delivers a story that has opposites attract, friends to lovers romance that sees Colton and Remi falling for one another, but should they? Can they both get past the fact that Colton dated her sister for two years in high school?
Colton is the town's police officer and is grumpy, uptight and felt that he was responsible for everyone's safety, but he also can be caring and affectionate when he wants to be. He is determined to keep his town safe and that includes Remi. Remi is the complete opposite of Colton. She is a ray of sunshine, always seeing the positive in people and works hard for what she wants to achieve. When break-ins and graffiti start to happen Colton is determined to find out who is behind them. When Remi is affected by both Colton ends up spending more time around her shop. Sparks start to fly but they did not ignite into a fire just yet. Colton and Remi definitely had chemistry between them. When things go beyond the break-ins and Remi is involved, Colton is more possessive over Remi.

There's something about Lea's writing that I love . Normally when I read a book series I have a favorite, but with hers I end up loving them all.
Remi and Colton, the sunshine and the grumpy cop were introduced in the previous books in the series.
She's the owner of the juice shop in town and even though it's considered wrong, she's attracted to Colton, who happens to be her big sisters ex boyfriend.
They managed to live in the same town with little interaction, except Colton always ends up giving her parking tickets. But as a string of burglaries occur to shop owners, Colton can't seem to stay away from Remi.
Their transition to friends and lovers was effortless, Colton thought that it's going to be just a fling to smash the desire simmering between them, but as soon as he kissed her , he knew that wouldn't be possible.
I loved that Colton was open to try and relax with Remi's help, despite the fact that he started being more involved with the community because he wanted a promotion, he ended up really loving doing his part and reconnecting with people.
Remi reminds me of myself, covering fear and sadness with a sunny disposition , trying to see the good in people.
I know I already said it previously, I love this author's stories because there's not much drama involving other characters. They are ever present, but they make the story richer, not causing trouble.
A wonderful story, it also introduces the characters of the next book in the series, which made me anticipate it .

I know I already said it previously, I love this author's stories because there's not much drama involving other characters. They are ever present, but they make the story richer, not causing trouble.
A wonderful story, it also introduces the characters of the next book in the series, which made me anticipate it .

Colton and Remi both had so much driving them. He’s got guilt and worry, she’s got a burning need to give back and maybe be someone to somebody. And while they both worry about starting anything with each other, sometimes the heart wants what it wants. Of course, one heart has a lot to work through and may just ruin what they’re building before it really has a chance to thrive, but we have to hope that isn’t the case.
Remi was nowhere near as flighty as Colton wanted to think she was. She was smart, loving, caring, and deliberately pushed herself to see the brighter side of life. And she worked hard at everything she decided to do, too, which led to Colton wanting to try things her way for a change. Who knew that Colton letting go a little and learning to be a tad less structured in his life would be such a great thing? Not him, that’s for sure! Even when it seems like all is falling apart, he and Remi found their way. And what a way they found together.
We still have questions and a more dangerous mystery on our hands, but we have one more happy couple to enjoy here. And I can’t wait to see what comes Hailey and Ryan’s way because it’s sure to be just as fabulous as the rest of this series has been so far!

Remi tries time and again to make him understand what happened years ago and what is happening now is not his fault. 4.25 Stars!!
Having read One More Chance i couldn't wait to dive back into this series! From the moment i found out about this third installment i couldn't wait for it! I picked it up as soon as i could and got right back into the Second Chance Harbor world! I really enjoyed this story!
Remi and Colton's journey pulled me in right from the get go! These two know each other because Colton used to date Remi's sister. As these two keep being brought together, i couldn't wait to see how everything would play out for them!
I really liked how these two were different and getting to dig deeper with both of them. I so related to Remi and Colton's protectiveness got me right in the heart. These two had me feeling SO much all throughout their journey! The chemistry between them was great and blushworthy!
I so enjoyed the whole grumpy/sunshine aspect of this story! I was so glad to be back in the Second Chance Harbor world! I can picture it all so clearly every single time.
With Lucky Chance, Ms.Coll has created such a great read that will keep you glued to your kindle and make you feel so much! I can't wait to dive back into this series with the fourth installment, My Best Chance!

An absolutely wonderful, steamy grumpy-sunshine romance
Lucky Chance (Second Chance Harbor Book 3) by Lea Coll is all about opposites attract. The beautiful thing about this romance is that while Remi and Colton may be opposites, they embrace each other’s point of view. Of these two characters, Colton gains the most. His grumpy disposition is out of a self imposed sense of responsibility. While Remi radiates warmth and positivity, she recognizes and sees Colton, understands his needs and meets him half way.
The plot is intertwined with emotional healing along with the romantic journey of this book couple. And their journey has it all; wonder, chemistry, joy, steam, protectiveness, warmth, intense and sweet. There’s also a suspenseful element, investigating the crimes occurring on Main Street. With Colton directly involved as a police officer and first Remi’s Juice Store then herself as a victim, both are highly invested in resolving the case.
Overall, Colton and Remi are deliciously steamy and sweet as they take the reader on their romance ride to a wonderful, wanted, hoped and longed for HEA.

This was one of those feel-good romances that make you all warm and fuzzy inside. Remi and Colton are so sweet together. Colton is stubborn yet swoon worthy. Especially in that uniform! The feels were breath-taking and had me completely enthralled. This is a definite must read for those who love contemporary romances full of emotions and steam. 4 1/2 stars!!

This book is my favorite in the Second Chance Harbor series!! Lea Coll hit another homerun with this book! She is the master of small town romances and swoon worthy story telling!
You met Colton and Remi a little bit in the other books, but they are so stinking cute for one another!
Colton is the uptight police officer in town and Remi is the juice shop owner. The two of them have a little bit of a past since Colton dated her older sister while in high school, but the two of them never really become friends. Remi has also had a crush on Colton but never acted on it. When Remi gets robbed, and then needs help coming up with a new drink, the two of them start to spend more time together. The more time they spend together the more Colton realizes how wrong he was about her and how right she is for him. But can they get over his past and demons and be together?
This book is soo good! Colton and Remi don't seem right for each other, but they are perfect for one another. And I loved the natural progression of their relationship, nothing seemed rushed. They went from friends, to flirting, to more. And the relationship Remi has with her sister was amazing!

Lucky Chance is the third book in the Second Chance Harbor series and is centered around Remi and Colton. Colton is the ex of Delilah, Remi’s sister, so Remi thinks he’s off-limits, but he sure gets her motor revving, lol. Colton is a sexy, grumpy policeman and he thinks he doesn’t deserve a happily ever after. You’ll learn why while reading this beautifully written book. When Remi’s store is broken in to, Remi and Colton start seeing each other more. Will they grow closer or just be friends? Colton isn’t the only one with doubts about getting a happily ever after. Remi is adopted and although her parents have shown their love, she still wonders why she wasn’t enough for her biological parents. I’m not going to leave any spoilers, but I will say you’ll love all the amazing characters in this book, many that we’ve already met from Lea Coll’s previous books.

Colton Castle is my sisters ex .. so why do I feel the need to be around him, look for him, want to be near him when I know he is off limits even when he is a grumpy police officer ?? I am the sun and the moon and I look for the good in everyone that is what my beliefs are !! I like for health and good nutrition not only through my juice store but my yoga and mediation too so when I feel off I know something is wrong ?? Is it the break ins around town or the graffiti on my building or is it the way Colton makes me feel when he is around ?? Safe and uneasy all at the same time ….
Remington Lennox should not be in my site .. yes she is my ex’s sister but it is more than that .. it is the feeling I can’t save everyone !! Can she bring this grumpy police office into the light and make him see he is more than just a friend or will his past keep him away ??

I love stories set in small towns add in that it is a friends to lovers story and I was excited to read Lucky Chance after reading the first two books in the latest series from Lea Coll.
This is police officer Colton Castle and Remi’s story and it is one that ticked all the boxes for me. They have nothing in common, he is gruff and sees the negative in people while Remi radiates sunshine and light. I adored this couple, they have a real connection to one another and the banter between them was witty and entertaining.
I love how protective and caring he is and I love how she brings light to his life. From the first chapter to the last, I was invested in this story. I love Lea Coll’s style of writing , her characters are engaging and easy to relate to and this book is a little gem.

Remington 'Remi' Lennox has worked her way up to owning a juice shop in Annapolis and is successful. Beautifully figured with blond hair she has a bright and cheerful personality enhanced by yoga and meditation. When her store is burgled one night she is aroused by police officer Colton Castle who investigates. He is concerned that she has no alarm system and perhaps his concern is more than just duty. Ten years ago he had dated Remi's older sister for two years until they broke it off in college. He is grumpy and laconic with people but Remi breaks through his barrier with her light heartedness not to mention her strong sexual attraction. If she had not been so young Colton could have seen himself with her and now that ten years have passed and the sensual draw is so magnetic it becomes incredibly hard to resist the pull. A good strong and emotional story with delicious steamy sex which simply explodes off the pages between these two likeable people. Received this arc and have voluntarily reviewed.

I LOVE this book! I couldn't set it down! This is Ms. Coll's best book yet! Sometimes a book just connects with you and this book did it for me. I love Colton and Remi individually and together. Their past connects them in a way that they struggle with for a while. From there, the story blooms as do the two characters.
There is humor, fantastic character development, and plenty of steam. Grab a fan, friends, because it gets hot!! I love Colton's somewhat grumpy disposition and Remi's positive take on all things. We could all use a little of that sunshine every day. As with Ms. Coll's other writings, the side characters are from previous books and connected so well. The goal to create a wonderful community just gives the reader good feels! Just a beautiful story! Grab this book, you will love it! @theoriginalmrsp

Colton Castle small town cop, all around straight laced follow the rules kind of guy.
Remington Lennox little miss sunshine wants to bring light and happiness to everyone she can.
This book was all kinds of fun and different and yet the same. It was new and yet felt very comfortable.
Kind of how I imagine Colton and Remi's relationship. They know each other because Colton dated Remi's older sister, but it was a child's relationship not really romantic. Now this new relationship is growing and building it's electric and exciting, it can't be contained.
But one of them has a problem from their past that they won't let go of, one that could destroy their new happiness.
Love this story so full of hope inspite of things that could have made it dark.

Another success book 3
Enjoyable reading throughout the storyline. Pleasant characters and simple events all combine to create a good story.
Colton, police officer, stern and adheres to policy etc. Remi, juice shop owner, free spirited, goes with the flow, kind and generous. They know each other because he dated her sister in the later years of high school.
He has guilt issues because of certain events that he feels responsible for and she has issues of being unsettled and abandoned due to being in foster care.
Their relationship blossoms and eventually, taking everything into account they manage to find their common ground, with her being his calm, relaxing sanctuary and him being her protector and advocate, encouraging her in her success.

I loved getting to read the opposites attract story of Remi and Colton. I loved their love story, but I also loved the other themes running through the book. I love that even though Remi liked to carry a positive outlook, she also had her own worries and fears to keep her occupied. I think I may try some of her techniques to see if I can ease some of my own stress. I loved that she was tenacious and found ways to expand her goals, even if she heard no from others. I loved that her optimism helped Colton with his issues and that her love and light tamed a lot of the darkness that he was feeling. They made a great team in all they did. Loved this story!

We're back to Annapolis and this time it's Remi's turn to find her HEA. Imagine my surprise when she found it in the arms of her sister high-school boyfriend. The more time they spent together, the more attraction was impossible to ignore.
I loved how they complimented each other. Colton was too serious and she needed some structure in her life. Together they made a great couple and I was so happy to see that he wanted to be and get better so he could be the right man for her.
I love coming back to this city and this series and I can't wait to for the next book to brighter up my day.

Wow, Lea Coll never disappoints with her beautifully written books & Lucky Chance is no exception!! Remi & Colton finally get together!! Their main hang up is that Colton dated her sister in high school & that makes both of them feel guilty for being attracted to each other. They also have their individual issues to work through before getting to their HEA. You will be hooked from the first page & experience all the feels they’re are feeling as they heal & let go of the past. It’s also great to see the recurring characters that we know & love from the previous books. A definite must read!!
