Lessons From Proverbs
For years I taught Sunday School and Bible Studies while maintaining full-time employment and family responsibilities. Finding time to prepare studies to honor and Glorify God was difficult. This series on the Book of Proverbs was well received, encouraging me to offer it to those who struggle to balance their responsibilities and still teach in a manner that honors and glorifies God. The following are lessons delivered at approximately one-week intervals.
The lessons are designed to be used with an open Bible and concurrent reading of the Scripture. In that manner, the student can assess whether the teaching is consistent with the Scripture. Lively and exciting discussions will be encouraged, and learning facilitated. After all, the Word of God is guaranteed to impact hearts; Isaiah 55:11, "So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall proper in the thing for which I sent it."
