A counting board book 1-10 that introduces 10 African animals and what their animal groups are called.
NatGeo board books always stand out for their excellent photos and their interactive prompts for littles. This one lets them practice counting and introduces them to both super familiar and some lesser known African animals (like little bee-eaters).
Great non fiction board book for animal naming for kids learning to talk but also has some interesting facts for older kids. Would gear it toward toddlers (2.5 and up). Tea liked but not a favorite.
Level of text (for read aloud) is a little higher than Tan's age now (16mos) but great resource for labeling animals in a group. All animals in book are spot on for category and commonly thought of.
