Gobley for Mayor!

Rate this book
When Gobley the Snail, usually a calm and reasonable fellow, is elected mayor of Pond Village, the trappings of office go to his head and he begins to try to pass new laws in his community. The other animals must convince him that the changes he wants will upset the balance of nature. This gentle story supports an ecological viewpoint and will encourage sensitivity to nature and wildlife. It could be used as an adjunct to an elementary environmental studies program.
