Welcome to Sunset Ridge, Alaska, where there’s a festival every summer month, a moose who's appointed himself matchmaker, and love is waiting around every corner.

Moose Be Love: When Cadence and her two sisters inherit the Sunset Ridge Lodge in Alaska, their immediate plan is to sell it. But the longer she stays in the charming small town—and around the kind and attractive caretaker, Ford—the more she yearns to stay. After his late wife, Ford never planned to fall in love again. Until he meets one of the inn's new owners. The more time they spend together, the harder he falls. But a deathbed promise that once seemed innocent might cost him a second chance at love.

My Favorite Moosetake: Tessa had her life all figured out, until a betrayal strips away the chance to achieve her dreams. Eager to hide from the fallout, she retreats to the small Alaskan town where she once spent a summer as a teenager. She never expected the military man who broke her heart all those years ago to still be there. Or that she might be tempted to stay. But is a second chance with Liam worth risking her heart?

Anonymoosely Yours: Single mom Sophie has been slowly rebuilding the fractured pieces of her life since her husband left her for another woman. She's made a new home for her and her daughter in Sunset Ridge with her sisters. She's finally feeling settled. Except for the complicated feelings she's starting to have for her best friend, Denver. She made the mistake of letting a man get too close to her heart before. She's worked too hard to heal her wounds. So why can't she stop thinking about the military veteran as more?

If you like clean-and-wholesome stories, all the feels, and match-making moose, then you’ll adore Jacqueline Winters’s tug on the heartstrings.

MOOSE BE LOVE is the first book in the Sunset Ridge series. Each story in this series will stand on its own, but for maximum enjoyment I recommend reading them all.

The title clues you in. This story is as cute as the title. It must be love…. Umm, it MOOSE be love. A window licking moose at that! Now, if you’re reading this review trying to decide if you want to read it and you’re thinking “window licking moose???” trust me… it’s funny!

This moose owns Sunset Ridge and wants all of its residents to be as happy as a moose munching blueberries.

He has his antlers honed in on Cadence and Ford. He knows they both need to loosen up and learn to live for themselves as much as they do for everyone around them.

I’ve fallen in love with everyone in Sunset Ridge. If it wasn’t in Alaska – you know, that place with snow – I might want to live there too!

MY FAVORITE MOOSETAKE is the second book in the Sunset Ridge Sweet Romance Series. Each will stand on its own, but I have fallen in love with these sisters (and this town) and want to know all of their stories.

Tessa and Liam’s story is all about second chances and a love that has existed since they were in high school. For Liam, he believed that “if you love something you must let it go.” He had to allow Tessa to become the person she needed to be as an adult, before she could know what she truly wanted. Because love is wonderful, but she had big dreams that had to be nurtured. Liam is my hero. He allowed them to both experience a small hurt (yes, it lasted ten years), for the sake of the assurance of both of their hearts.

This is a wonderful, sweet, small-town romance with a perfect happy ending. One of my favorite characters never says a word – his name is Ed and he is a moose. I think he’s part Cupid.

ANONYMOOSELY YOURS is the third book in the Sunset Ridge series. Each is a wonderful, stand-alone, contemporary romance.

Ed the Moose is back!! He’s even helping to make one special little girl’s birthday even more magical.

That little girl’s mom, Sophie, is training for the annual marathon! In addition to being an awesome mom and helping to run the lodge with her sisters. This woman is amazing! Is it any wonder that she has caught the eye of Denver?

Now say what you will, but I’m going to bet that any woman would love to be wooed the way that Denver has dreamed up. His secret admirer plan is so personalized and sweet. Plus, I love that her sisters – and Ed – are rooting for him!

Now for the best news… The three sisters may have their men, but the fun is not over. Ed the matchmaking moose is not done, and we will be returning to Sunset Ridge, Alaska for LOVE & MOOSECHIEF. I’m looking forward to it!

Moose Be Love - Cadence is back in Sunset Ridge to wrap up her late aunt's estate and sell the lodge. Ford's the local handyman, and he was working for her aunt. He needs to convince Cadence that she should stay and run the inn. He didn't figure on falling in love with her. His secret may destroy their friendship-turned-romance, though. Riggs, Ford's huge German shepherd, turns into a big baby around Cadence. And this is our introduction to Ed the moose, who will make appearances in the futures books. There's a wonderful small-town feeling about Sunset Ridge, with interesting residents and a fully functioning rumor mill. I'm glad to have finally read this book.

My Favorite Moosetake - Tessa's been kicked out of the cooking competition, thanks to a dirty trick from her idiot ex boyfriend. She heads home to Alaska, but can't tell anyone what happened - she signed an NDA. Liam came home after the service a couple of years ago, and runs the garage that his grandfather left to him. Tesse crashes her rental car trying to avoid hitting Ed, who's blocking the road. Liam happens along and gets her to her family lodge, then tows her car to his shop. And realizes that he wants her back. For good. She'd like to stay., but her contract with the TV competition might force her to leave. This is my first read from this author, and it won't be the last. The book isn't terribly long, but the story feels complete. Tessa left town when Liam broke her heart - I would have as well. But when I found out why he left... I love that he's never given up hope that she'll come back to him. Ed the moose is just too much, between simply standing in the road, and snitching blueberries.

Anonymoosely Yours - Denver, a veteran and mystery writer, is secretly in love with Sophie, and has been since they met last year. Sophie and her daughter, Caroline, come to Alaska to work with her sisters at the inn they inherited, after her marriage failed. She's not ready for dating, but she and Denver become friends, then best friends. When she begins to get gifts from a secret admirer, she can't imagine who it would be. I was so excited to read this book, the third in the series. Denver and Sophie are on a slow burn, both attracted to the other, but afraid to take the first step. Denver is such a loving and patient man, only wanting the best for Sophie and Caroline. I like that he trusts Sophie enough to talk through ideas about his books. Sophie is strong, trying to find her place in her new life, working so hard to take care of her daughter, even when her ex turns into a deadbeat dad. I love that Ed is back, and even though he's taken to eating the cabbage from Sophie's garden, she still uses him as a sounding board while she's running.

I read these books a bit out of order, starting with the 2nd book through the most recent. With this book set, I finally read the 1st book. Besides these three, there are four more in the series, with an additional one scheduled for release this spring. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Moose Be Love - This was for me a sweet and a little bit sad story, it was a good start to a series. I thought the storyline was an interesting one and that it had interesting characters - human and animal. I felt a connection to the characters and felt their connection to each other. - 4 stars.

My Favorite Moosetake - I'll be honest and say I wasn't sure how Tessa's story would play out and if I would feel a connection to her based on how she was in book one, I'm happy to say that whilst reading this book I finally got to meet the real Tessa and I liked her! I liked that she rediscovered who she was and was brave enough not to hide from that, that she could take a good look at at who she used to be and who she had become and decided on who she wanted to be in light of that all.

I did think that there might have been a bit more drama and angst with everything that went on, but to be honest I was happy with how it all played out and thought it was great the foundations of her relationships with her sisters and Liam were strong enough to work through any issues and show love, support and understanding. - 4 stars.

Anonymoosely Yours - I've been looking forward to Sophie's story since book one, I wasn't sure I agreed with Tessa in book two when she stopped Denver but can now see she was right. I loved the friendship between Sophie and Denver, it was lovely to see it and to see it develop into something so much more. I wanted to hug Sophie so many times in this story and tell her how strong and capable she was and I wanted to hug Denver for being such an amazing man too. Ed deserves a shout out as he was stellar in this story.

One of my favourite parts of this story was Denver working on his book, I loved the scenes of the plot being worked out and I really wish there was a way for me to find out what happened in the end! I am enjoying this series very much and wonder what Ryder's story will bring and how Ed will play a roll in it? - 4.5 stars.

Cadence, Tessa, and Sophie inherit a bed and breakfast from their aunt. In the first book they have to decide whether to keep and run it or sell. Caretaker Ford gives Cadence plenty of reasons to want to stay, but he’s keeping a secret that could tear them apart. Tessa fell for Liam years ago, but he abandoned her for the military so she focused on her dream of being an award winning chef. She back with a damaged heart, anxious about her future, romantic feelings for Liam resurfacing. Sophie’s husband abandoned her for another woman. She’s trying to make a new life for herself and her daughter Caroline. Denver has been a good friend, helping out with Caroline, and discussing his book plots with her. He would love nothing more than to become a family with her and Caroline, but she’s been burned before and is afraid to risk hers and Caroline’s hearts again. The three guys have sweet dogs who feature a lot in the book. Ed the moose kept popping up and using his ways to detain the sisters and beg for food.

Moose Be Love:
I loved this sweet Alaskan romance. It had so much going for it with it being in a small town and the multiple familial emphasees. There were wonderful characters and I'm super pumped that this is the beginning of a series in my favorite place on Earth! Clean romances with enticing storylines and wonderful surroundings, not to mention our resident moose, Ed! I can't wait for the next book!

My Favorite Moosetake:
I was super excited for Tessa’s story next. Small town Alaska, is there a better setting for a series?! I love these characters and this was a wonderful second chance romance. I can’t wait for the next book.

Anonymoosely Yours:
I loved this story! A slow burn beat friends realization. The child aspect, wounded past, definitely loved seeing the writing process between the two. An, gahh! This won’t be the last book! I was wondering as we got to know Ryder some.

Three sisters are headed back to Sunset Ridge to run the Lodge together. Each storyline is well written, with intense feelings and situations that are so real that it is like watching dear friends. The characters are heartwarming with their strength, support, and close bonds to the town and each other. Loved the moose and how he ends up putting just the right push on people. The couples have great connections and trust, with story endings that bring it all together. So glad the series will continue and can not wait to read the next book. Great binge worthy set.
