WAIT, WHAT? THEY’RE LETTING US DO ANOTHER ONE? Did they not read the last one? That one was wild for sure, but this one… Hoo boy. WOW. I mean, look at those credits. You think this one’s gonna be LESS gonzo? I’m gonna need to buy our lawyers a nice fruit basket or something.

The first story with Purple Man was hilarious with lots of laugh-out-loud moments. I enjoyed the following two as well but not as much as the first. What's really fun with these BWB series, however, is noticing how different artist styles impact the storyline because it changes how the story is told. Sometimes the writer-artist combo works, sometimes it doesn't.

Purple Craze by David Lapham, Maria Lapham and Pete Woods - Kilgrave, AKA the "Purple Man", is hiding out from Daredevil. His ace card is that Deadpool is under his control, serving as his bodyguard. The Deadpool and Kilgrave banter is simply fantastic - great little short story all around.

Deadpool Party by Karla Pacheco and Leonard Kirk - A fun Gambit and Deadpool team up with excellent artwork from Kirk who matches the manic energy of the script.

Pool of Death?? by Daniel Warren Johnson - A meta story from Daniel Warren Johnson who suffers from writer's block and can't craft a unique enough Deadpool story. Johnson and Deadpool team up to plot out a Deadpool adventure that is unique, but alas for such a short story they've run out of pages. DWJ's artwork is a bit cruder here matching the "phoned in" design of the story, but it works really well.

This might be one of my favorite issues in the Black, White & Blood line yet.

The story with Kilgrave and Daredevil? Hilarious! I could use more of those three in a comic. The artwork also worked well with the story. The final two stories were okay, not that fond of the artwork in those stories though.

Unsure if I'm just stepping into a very deep pool here (no pun intended) or if Deadpool really just is super annoying. Read it mostly for the chapter by DWJ, which was sweet. The rest of it was fun but forgettable since I'm not really reading further.

First story was the best. Liked the word play. The other two were okay. I like Gambit, so seeing him charge DP was funny. The third kind of legitimately felt like they didn't know what to do.
