There is so much discussion about the existence of Chupacabras in the area where I live. My students love to read about such creatures. I do not doubt anyone when it comes to the mysterious and weird which the Chapacabra is. The book was a bit hokey and the pictures creepy which means kids would probably like it. One interesting note is that on page 11 the book refers to "years ago, scientists thought that the giant squid and the gorillas were myths. I know this is true about squids. So maybe...Chupacabras are real.
