entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series
This is an entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series. A fun cast of characters and an entertaining storyline. Fern is a witch who owns a bakery in their little small town. Her cat familiar is a bit ornery and she has a couple of friends that help her at the bakery. Her boyfriend or at least in the process of becoming her boyfriend is a local police detective. Fern the first time we met was accused of a crime and now she just seems to always end up in the middle of the investigations of the different crimes. She has a knack for figuring out different clues and helping her boyfriend solve the crimes. With a little bit of magic a little bit of fun and a little bit of pure luck she stumbles upon the clues she needs. Read on and enjoy.

This is a great read by one of my favorite authors, I really enjoyed it! I was drawn into the story right away with great writing. There’s a mystery to solve. Wonderful characters, I love Fern and Gumbo! I can’t wait for the next book!

Just keeps getting better!
Too many suspects in one family. I had the hardest time trying to remember who was who. But that’s just me! Fern had it all figured out. Gumbo is his hilarious self throughout the story. I love snarky familiars!

Fun series
I enjoy these books. No namedropping of brand names, emphasis on gory murder scenes,car chases, leaping from building to building, etc.. Relaxing way to spend the day.
