"My life was finally where I wanted it to be ... or was it?" The price was my family, my hometown, and my reputation but my musical career was finally panning out. Unfortunately, the universe had other plans for my brother and me, taking me back from LA to Alpena, Michigan. I would not have gotten far without Leila Butler, my brother Micah making no secret how he loathed me. If it wasn't for the sexy, sweet blonde and her amazing way with him, who knew where I'd be? Probably back in LA where I belonged.

Nanny with Benefits: A Single Dad & Nanny Romance:
Their Unexpected Hero -
Jayce and Leila were thrown together in a time of sadness, but Jayce soon realised as time went on, that she was helping both him and his brother to overcome their grief and live again. It is a beautifully written heartbreaking story, that ends with a wonderful surprise and happy ending. It deserves a high recommendation.

Exile: A Single Father & A Virgin Romance:
Their Guiding Light -
The electric current between Avery and Miro as they spent time together, was enough to bring anyone back to life, but circumstances and outside interference nearly put their relationship into jeopardy. The author’s beautifully written word, made it evident that Avery and Miro were meant to be together. This is a story you will truly enjoy reading.

Too rush. Too half-baked.

I felt like the hero didn't get a chance to redeem himself. I had hated him in the beginning and I still hated him in the end. The heroine? I didn't care about her. I could understand why she loved him.

The thing with asshole heroes is, if authors don't tell me how nice they are to their heroines, I can only assume the heroines love them because they are physically hot which is kind of shallow. I mean appearances are important for lust but they can't be all you want for love, right?
