I'm thoroughly enjoying all the S.Beaufont books. I've just started book 14 but felt I really should stop and tell other readers how much I'm enjoying this series. I've always loved dragons and dragon riders peak my imagination. Sophia is a well adjusted character with more wisdom than most. She has courage and tries to keep calm as she faces off with so many different challenges and monsters. Her dragon, Lunis, is quite the character. He's definately like no other dragon alive and I don't know if there will ever be another like him. Who ever heard of a dragon watching netflix, have a tik toc account, ordering items off Amazon, cracking corny and sometimes funny knock knock jokes. He's loving and loyal to a T. I'm conflicted about the idea of 50% of the new dragon eggs being considered evil. I can only imagine what will happen when an evil mage magnetizes with one of the evil dragons and when I think of 500 evil eggs and possible mages that's mind boggling. Sophia and the other dragonriders are going to be very busy dealing with that. Right now though they have current political problems happening and Sophia needs to find a spell to protect the current evil babies that are flying free now. I do hope this series never ends.
I stated this in past reviews, but these stories are safe for younger readers. There's a lot of snark and a lot of fun and light-heartedness and things that just don't make sense done in a humorous way with a lot of battle with characters that are morally sound on the good side that it's a very enjoyable read and for me it's a nice add-on to the other fantasy and science fiction as well as the mixture of science fiction and fantasy. Again, well done authors. Thank you for this book
Sarah Noffke and Michael Anderle are now on my list of favorite authors! Yup. Right there with JD Robb and Iris Johansen. But best of all, I laughed out loud on just about every other page of this whole series!
Political Sky (The Exceptional Sophia Beaufont Book 13)
What to say? Another exciting Sophia Beaufont adventure. Intrigue, excitement, nail biting, thrilling etc. . . . . I'm ready for the next adventure to find out what Sophia and Lunis can get into that is scary.
