But just before handing in his letter of resignation, a mysterious janitor appears in his doorway. The stranger offers his condolences, but also an answer to everyone’s burning why did Bruce's star athlete take his own life?

When the Sweethearts and Hero’s were at school, they obviously were promoting this book. I bought it. From what they said, I assumed it was going to be a compilation of different stories, it wasn’t. Won’t go into it more as not to be a spoiler, except to say, the end was odd. There were a few teary eyes moments, but I guess I went in expecting more ... which may be unfair.
This book is the last 15-years of our journey and the time we have spent in front of tens of thousands of educators. Every page in this book is based on TRUE events. Even Alan was based on a young man named Evan, and the real Tim is based on one of my favorite humans, Tim McGowan (my Yoda)! This book is dedicated to all the great educators we have met in our journey across this great nation!
This book wasn’t expected …. I expected a textbook type book but was shocked to have a story to read which delivered the information. I had many times where I had to pause to reflect on the passage because it was either eye-opening or a big AHA moment
So many tidbits of knowledge in this book that can help every teacher become a better teacher. Sometimes our difficult students are the ones that teach is the most. I loved the stories and examples to help understand.
