Julian, a former small-town boy, now emerging screenwriter, and his fiancé have just announced their engagement, propelling them into the only spotlight more blinding than Hollywood -- that of their respective social circles. While Julian's professional and romantic future seem to be taking shape, ghosts of his past aren't ready to let go. Drama ensues when engagement celebrations and wedding planning cause his past and present worlds to collide. From a heartbroken high school sweetheart, to a resentful ex-best friend, Julian must balance a nostalgia for his prior life, with the reality of his present, and the promise of his future. As this romance-drama explores how all of Julian's relationships came to be, we're reminded that each of us has a story, defined by a collection of chapters penned throughout our lives.
I think this is self-published. Great writing and a mature storyline about adults and relationships that is realistic. Based on the conclusion, there needs to be a part 2, and I'm pretty sure there won't be :(
