More philosophical story than sci-fi. But sometimes we need it. We need to stop and proceed everything too complex for our mind before going ahead...
What is more, the setting and characters of the story reminded me of places I visited in my childhood. It makes it feel real. It makes me wonder, what if there is an autumn land not far from my home city...
