Shine-a-light books are such fun, so it's great to see one aimed at Catholic children in particular. The rhyming prose is fun and gives a short introduction to the saint. Fun and educational bedtime reading!

Some saints' books bore us because they're stiffly written. I found this book absolutely delightful with just enough, not too much, written about some saints you'd like to know. The brief paragraph for each saint allows for questions, discussion, and the artwork to feed a child's curiosity. The encouragement to use a flashlight behind certain pages to see hidden images plays on the light theme perfectly for a child to grasp how everything about God is not visible or easy to see. But with a little help from God's light . . .

This is a great book for littles and even bigs. It is interactive with the shine a light...if you don't feel like dealing with a flashlight you can just hold the pages up to light and you will be able to see through. It is a fun and engaging way to learn about the saints

A fun, interactive book for kids. The only thing missing was some back matter that told more about the saints highlighted in the book. I wasn't familiar with several of them and would like to be able to talk to kids in more depth about them.
