Jakob Kõrv was an Estonian writer and journalist. Jakob Kõrv (1849-1916) worked in the editor of the newspaper "Sakala" in Viljandi from 1881 to 1882. 1882 he acquired the newspaper Valgus in Rakvere, which he began publishing in Tallinn. J. Kõrv, who initially considered the program of the democratic direction of the national movement, later became a supporter of the tsarist Russification policy. J.
