The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali Made Simple

Grab a copy of this book and understand the gist of all sutras!

The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali is a sacred text on the spiritual practices of Yoga in Ancient India. Patanjali’s Yoga is all about attaining control of the mind via meditation (Dhyana) and understanding one’s true self i.e., Soul or Atman. It has nothing to do with the physical Yoga postures of modern Yoga. Many translations of the Yoga sutras are available. Your chances of being unable to follow are high with these translations. “The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali Made Simple” book provides only the general meaning of the sutras in plain English so that you can follow them easily.

Many sutras in the ancient book are not in the correct sequence. I tried my best to create a better order in this new book. I also added pictures to depict key concepts because pictures are worth a thousand words. The book contains five chapters. The first chapter is an introduction to Yoga. The second chapter gives an insight into the practice of Yoga. The third chapter lists the miraculous powers gained by a practitioner of Yoga. The fourth chapter provides insight into attaining liberation, which is the goal of Yoga. The fifth chapter contains the summary of the book. I hope this book provides you with the knowledge of Patanjali's Yoga/Dhyana/Meditation.
