I've read a lot of self-help and relationship books. I find that most are excellent at defining problems, but fall short on what to do about it. This book was different for me. The suggestions to take were solid and doable and made more sense to me than the usual - just tell yourself that... She suggests ways to communicate better, listen better (skydiving listening - loved this perspective!), empathize (not what I thought it to be), and connect better (40 minute daily modifiable relationship routine). This can be read by one or both partners. Both is best, but either can make positive changes. I am starting it again. This will be a go to book for me.
