An American designer and illustrator presents over one hundred unusual, symmetrical designs that have been constructed using the principles of geometry
Very cool patterns but I dinged it a star for its convoluted text. The subtitle "How to create art deco geometrical designs" is a bit misleading. You need a decent understanding of geometry to follow his explanations but they're not the most clear or useful for practical application. If you're designing on a computer, I think your approach will not rely as much on the mathematics behind the constructions.
That could just be me, by all means check it out to see the wide array of possibilities. Definitely worth a look for some inspiration even if the how is not always straightforward.
