Once a killer is caught, it’s important he stays caught…
As a homicide detective, Liv DeMarco chases down the worst of the worst. She’s careful to follow the rules, collect evidence, and build a case. But sometimes, that’s not enough.
When a serial killer awaiting trial is released on bail, Liv's convinced he'll use this opportunity to strike again. But the police have to be careful not to overstep. The last thing they need is to give any more credence to the killer's claims he's been railroaded.
Meanwhile, Liv and her partner are assigned to assist the task force in tracking down the latest party drug, which happens to be killing people. While investigating, Liv realizes she's being watched, but by whom? With threats around every corner, Liv will have to be at her best, but she's already stretched too thin. And that's precisely what the killer is waiting for...

Love this series and can't wait for the next. Not sure if a spoiler or not as I don't know where it goes but loving the change in relationship between Liv and Brad. They would be awesome together as a couple. Know some love Kincaid and he's a great character, but nothing more

What a life! Brad and Liv are jinxed on their first call as a trail of bodies begin turning up. Young people killed by a new drug and dealers that can't be found. On top of that there's still concern that dirty cops are still operating and a serial killer is let out on bail and immediately begins stalking Liv . The tension is high and emotions flow as their lives are consumed by finding the killer drugs. Well written, filled with excitement and feel goods!
Never disappointing, always a page turner. Will impatiently wait for the next great book. Thank you again for providing excellent entertaining stories.
This book was great! I loved having the dream team back together! I'm still confused on if Liv will get a love interest, I'm crossing my fingers, but this is great! I can't wait to read more.
This was the best yet. Red Rabbit tainted drugs, Brad going off the rails... Luv and Brad watching each other's back. Thank God for that with a sicko serial killer after Liv. I had to wait and read that part during the day so I would be able to sleep. Fantastic! Between the cLub and Lexie series by this author, I have found a series that can't be beat.
Wow! This series is seriously gripping. This book was basically a continuation of the previous book. I really think you should read all of the books in this series in order. I read this back in 2024, and I am reading it again because it is really good.
This is another very entertaining book in this series. I enjoy the way they are written. We get to know the characters and the action is entertaining. Very good!
