A must read book for a person who loves mysore and its history.
My hometown is Mysore, but always lived in bengaluru. But when we visited Mysore, dad would walk me along the streets showing me the various landmarks spiced with tidbits of history, he was born and grew up in pre Independent India, when it was still Royal Mysore state. So he knew things.
This book made me recollect quite a few of them, the good times with dad.

ಬಹಳ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕ. ಅದೆಷ್ಟೋ ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಕಥೆಗಳು, ಮೈಸೂರಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದ ನಮಗೆ ಇಂದು ತಿಳಿಯದು. ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಡಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೇ ಪರರಂತೆ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಇಂಥಹ ಅದೆಷ್ಟೋ ಕಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತಾ, ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಡ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದ ಗೌರವ ಇನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತದೆ. ಹೆಚ್ಚಲೇ ಬೇಕು.
ಇಂಥಹ ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ನಿಮಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು ಧರ್ಮೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್.
