This story shows great imagination and different twists. I haven't read much science fiction in quite a while, so it was good to get a taste of it again. I liked the initial chapters best, and I really found the opening series of events to be creative and interesting Sci-Fi. It definitely left me hungry for more toward the end, so hopefully things will work out for him to continue the series. Perhaps he may connect with the right person to adapt a screenplay out of it--I could see something coming out of it (it reminded me a bit of "The Abyss"--not in a water sense, but in just being something different and interesting, with character development and surprises). Read it!

I found this to be an interesting book. Set as a memoir of the captain of a crashed ship to the future. A great deal of time has pasted and he is nearing the end of life, so it is time to tell what happened to him and people. Unfortunately this is only the first of a series, so nothing is finished at the end of the book. And so far I haven't found the second book in the series.
