This book is a sequel to Rhythm Roger : The Secrets of Electon. I read the first book when it was just released and I distinctly remember that I enjoyed reading it. It was one of my first sci-fi reads and it was highly engaging and well written. I am glad to say that this one also reaches up to the mark the first book made, maybe even transcends it! (Ive put the review of the first book in my story)
It was amazing to take this thrilling ride with Rhythm. The amount of research gone into this book is visible because of the way it is written. The entire concept is both thought-provoking and fun. I also loved the illustrations in the book. That 'Thought To Remember' in the beginning itself is important and is something we need to keep reminding ourselves. I can't wait to read the next book in this series!

This book continues Rhythm's story from where the first book left. It deals with how Rhythm decides to save humanity and the future. There is a controversy against Rhythm and hence, several fight scenes, including one with photon particles.
This book also contains illustrations, which makes it all the more interesting. The world building is commendable and just like the previous book, this too is well-researched in terms of the scientific facts used to plot the storyline, and so is beginner friendly. The language is simple and easy to understand. This book too ended in a cliffhanger, leaving scope for a possible new book in the series.

Amazing storyline with all the scifi effects and thrilling incidents.
Roger get called back to Electon gets trapped and Cooper, Olivia and Eva are to save him before it's too late.
The story resonates the first part and keeps a flow. Super comfortable read.
Author has great skill and deep study of the concept. We can see that through the lines.

✳️Rhythm Roger: The Heat of Phantasmagoria is the second installment in the Rhythm Roger series written by Himanshu Rai. I highly recommend this book, if you enjoy reading Sci-fi, fantasy series. This book is best suited for children and also for those who love reading middle grade series.✳️

✳️Henrich Rudolf Hertz, How did he die? That's the first question that came to my mind as I went through the first two chapters. When I googled, I found out he had severe migraines. Wow, It was somewhat similar to the storyline ( malfunction in brain 😅 - don't want to explain it further- Spoiler). The illustrations were really good compared to the first part. In the drawing, I liked the young man version of Roger. He was handsome.✳️

✳️When I read about the space time continuum, It reminded me of my 'Engineering physics'. Even though it's complicated, the author has explained in a simple way so that the children can understand better. I also got some Hogwarts kind of Vibe from this book. The vehicle in the first part reminded me of the bus in the Prisoner of Azkaban part. Greg was giving me some serious Snape vibes. The story ends in such a way that there is a chance for a next part too.✳️

You may not know when someone is spying on you or planning something sinister, you just need to have a presence of mind and never lose your cool, keep calm and find the solution that is the only thing you can do.

Rhythm has recently come back to the real world and has been resting since then one day he gets a message from Mr Noah to come into Electon world and gets excited, unknown about the conspiracy against him.
As Roger was going home a strange vehicle comes in front of him and stops, he was stunned to see it, the strange vehicle which looked like a bus made up of glass came to take him to the Electon world because of Dslot, the path to Electon has been guarded well.
The biggest festival of Electon world that is known as shibboleth day is going on in that people of Electon can choose their animal which is extinct on earth and can play with it in a zone that is known as phantasmagoria, everyone is enjoying it but when the time comes of Roger he wanted a dragon but instead of it he gets something else and gets furious and walks in the zone and gets trapped in it.
Someone has entered in Electon where vslots lives and has planned something that can affect both Roger and Electon.
Review
The ending was unexpected and quite riveting and it gives a hint that there is more story is coming and will show how will Roger tackle with upcoming danger.
The story is a fast-paced and well-researched plot it had and as usual, the author has created something new and given us an exciting experience with his world Electon.
If you haven't read this book and its first part go grab it and read it I guarantee you will love it and gift it to kids they are gonna adore Roger and his friends and the World this book has.
Recommended to fantasy lovers and if you are not into it just read it and you will become a fan of it.

If there is one thing which has the inevitable capability to intrigue and pique the curiosity of the readers, then it is the question about what the future holds for all of us.
Maybe, it is owing to this reason that we see the science fiction genre in a constant flux that has boomed in the recent times with a solidified cannon and has the ability to vary from one reader to another.
‘Rhythm Roger: The Heat Of Phantasmagoria’ by Himanshu Rai is one such book where the author has brilliantly created a consequential and ground breaking story revolving around our main protagonist Rhythm.
When we were first introduced to Rhythm, we as a readers were still navigating right there with him as he got acquainted with the Electon. However, now we can see how he is more known of his abilities, which makes it interesting to read, seeing him taking charge.
As this is a sequel, there is a continuation, so reading the first book in the series is highly recommended. We see the introduction of new characters as well as some of the old ones make an appearance in this story.
It is certainly not an easy task to create a universe that simply does not exist, so in this case, the author has done a good job of narrating the Electon Universe, something which exists in parallel with ours.
This was a book that was wonderful not only for providing the readers with much to think about, but it also has the ability to leave a long lasting impact, all the while influencing the subject matter, all the new technologies and most importantly, the perspective. Hence I am going to give this book FIVE RHYTHM STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The title and the cover page of the book are apt to the story frame. This book is all about phantasmagoria. This book has given an elaborate vision of the electronic World. While reading this book I have felt like watching the Harry Potter movie. The illustrations of the story atmosphere are entirely beyond our imagination.
The story has a fast pace moving to interlink with the realistic and the phantasmagoria. The author has inserted a lot of minor characters in this novel. But they have played a significant role which gives the most vital connection with the further story move.
The plot bounces realistic world to an electronic world back forth constantly even though there is no mess in the plot construction. All the elements and the atmosphere in this novel has scientific fact within. All of them had been resolved by the characters themselves.
The author has developed the concept of the novel with the mirror world. All the factors of the novel had evidently subject to the plot.
The narration of this novel makes the readers visualise the story. This book is not only a good feed for the reader's imagination but also gives the best explanation of the scientific theory on the phantasmagoria.

Let me preface this by saying that this is a controversial opinion, and from what I could see, many Goodreads readers adored this book. I read the first half of this book and loved it, so I expected the sequel to be just as good. While it is entertaining, I found it to be lacking in a few areas.

This is the second book in the Rhythm Roger series, which follows Rhythm's adventures in the world of Electon, where the D - Slots are fighting the V - Slots for control of the planet.
The graphics that are included in practically every chapter are a fantastic way for readers to feel involved in the story. Despite the world-building and fanciful features, I think the lack of an emotional component is what kept me from being as immersed in the book as I had hoped. However, this is merely my view. If you enjoy science fiction, you should give this a try and decide for yourself. As this was my first Sci fi book I loved reading it but did not enjoy much.

Here comes the mind blowing second part of the much loved series of Rhythm Roger, with more darker secrets roaming around in The Electon. A book that revolves totally around sci-fi fictional characters and storylines. Would be highly loved by children of all ages and everyone.

Well, first. Let me just clarify that this is an unpopular opinion and many Goodreads readers absolutely loved this book from what I could gauge.
I read the first part of this book and enjoyed it immensely, so I figured the sequel would be similar. While it is quite engaging, I felt it fell short in few aspects.
The writing style wasn't my favorite. I did feel like I was reading a course book revolving around Physics rather than a novel. The characters unfortunately felt too stoic and devoid of emotion and I am unable to enjoy a book unless I can connect with the characters.
That said, the story compensates for the lack of characterization. This is the second installment in the Rhythm Roger series that continues with Rhythm's adventures into the world of Electon, where the D-Slots are waging a war against V-slots and trying to be the dominant power. The illustrations added in almost every chapter is a great way for the readers to feel connected with the story.
Despite the world building and the fantastical elements, I suppose the lack of emotional aspect is what led me to not be as invested in the book as I hoped to be. But, this is just my opinion.

Well, first. Let me just clarify that this is an unpopular opinion and many Goodreads readers absolutely loved this book from what I could gauge.
I read the first part of this book and enjoyed it immensely, so I figured the sequel would be similar. While it is quite engaging, I felt it fell short in few aspects.
The writing style wasn't my favorite. I did feel like I was reading a course book revolving around Physics rather than a novel. The characters unfortunately felt too stoic and devoid of emotion and I am unable to enjoy a book unless I can connect with the characters.
That said, the story compensates for the lack of characterization. This is the second installment in the Rhythm Roger series that continues with Rhythm's adventures into the world of Electon, where the D-Slots are waging a war against V-slots and trying to be the dominant power. The illustrations added in almost every chapter is a great way for the readers to feel connected with the story.

Rhythm Roger - The Heat of Phantasmagoria by Himanshu Rai
Rhythm had my heart from the absolutely first book and I was anxiously hanging tight for the second part and as I received my copy I was uNable to stand by any longer and promptly began scrutinising it
In the second part Rhythm is on one more mission and I am good to go to be a piece of his main goal also saying the enchanted world "Avalonia". All you Rhythm Roger fans you know what I mean. In any case, for the new ones let me tell you a tad bit of this book. In this book the story begins with his uncle getting a message from the Arch Rotanda to return to the electon world. Roger came to the electon world however this time there are a lot more obscure insider facts and the mission is much more hazardous, sadly he is lost between the electon world and the human world in another dimension, he wants to track down his direction and return while at the same time his companions from electon world are attempting to look through him as well and to know what happened you need to treat yourself with the book.
I like how the author from the very first kart has made this conjured up universe of electons, battle of vslots and dslots. I likewise respect that he moves from the parallel universe to human world and that as well so really. His examination and love for quantum material science makes this fiction book more outstanding. Each plot and characters are incredibly clear cut and coddled to the peruser.
The books has it all its a second part but can be read as a stand alone too. It’s a book for children as as as adults. It will magically transport you to a fictional world. The story is crafted with such simplicity Thats it’s apt for the beginners but at the same time ferocious readers won’t complain either. The illustrations added in every chapter just adds up to more fun as each character even visually is sketched out to u like in comic strips.and I am sure by now you know I am a hardcore fan of RR (Rhythm Roger)

Rhythm decides to visit him in his new ride and meets a new friend named Aofie. Aofie is someome really important as shares the top tier secrets about The ELECTON to him .
Our awaited villian Dslots eventually schemes against Rhythm and traps him in a place where everything is nothing. Cooper, Olivia, and Eva our truest friends embarks bravely a mission to the unknown save Roger (and Electon).
PS. The book is experienced better if you read the first part as well.

This book is really overwhelms you . the quality is so high that it will exceed the expectations of every reader.
First of all the appeal and charisma that this series holds is very enough but tge added flare of eyepleasing mindstimulating comic style thrill that it gives is huge.Part Two turns out to be double in impact and impressiveness.
The expectations and needs and adventure hungary running minds of readers are bound to be over the clouds. I loved this book and it is surely a 2.0 version that this series needed.
I still am awestruck and wondering how beautifully our author has put every thought in word and created a world of endless possibility. His vision and farsightedness is very clearly spolen by the way he expresses and writes.
The characters are strongly written and have balanced co independent beuaviour , I love the synergy between the plot and the characters. The book cover, name of the book the characters the way every illustration is presented this book has a lott to offer and satisfy every bibliphile out there.
I specifically loved the fight with photon particles at Stanford. The travelling segment and conversations. The scene of rescue there are many pageturners and endless adrenaline rush moments.
In love with the book and waiting to read the next part.
Recommended to every book lover of all age groups.

Googol is playing his cards well and planning a bigger conspiracy.

Mr. Rai deserves applaud for his beautiful imagination. It is not like anything is being picked up and placed anywhere, and the reader is expected to trust it blindly. There's a logical reason for every mechanism and process happening in Electon world. The story contains a lot of scientific terms ( afterall it's a science fiction ) And the author has taken care that each one should be explained properly so that no one face any problem while reading the book.
1st book familiarised us with the concept of electon, how it came into existence, what are Vslots and Dslots etc, who's Anagol, Googol, Markboo, what's devil noise etc. 2nd part not only takes the story forward but also introduces some more 'electonic' stuff in the picture and I'm damn sure that upcoming books of the series will show us a lot more 'electonic' secrets (Mr. Rai's mind is already equipped with the story of 5-6 parts 🤯). Time travelling plays a significant role in this one too. Just like first book, Illustrations by Sachin Nagar are also there but mostly absent in second half of the book. Language used is simple. RR2 doesn't lose its entertainment quotient anywhere and keeps one hooked from cover to climax. However I felt that the beginning of the book should have contained the summary of RR1. The minute size of fonts also irritated me to some extent. RR2 focuses more on thickening the plot as compared to the development of characters.
If you've enjoyed RR1, then RR2 will definitely please you. Electon World is worth exploring. Go For It.

🥀"What happened next was a phantasmagoria of fantasy and mystery"
I'm so excited to talk about this book because I'm a regular reader of the author and I must say the author has come a very very long way, I feel deeply feel happy to talk about something that I was eagerly waiting for to come out and I couldn't stop myself from reading it.
This is the second book in Rhythm Roger series and Rhythm is set on a complete new journey filled with twists and adventures. Firstly, I loved the world building since the story is all about transporting the readers into a fictional world, Himanshu did an excellent job building it the way I was hoping. It's a book that can be read by both children and adults, filled with fantasy, sci-fi, a little bit of humour and a lot of twists, topped with drama and action makes it more enchanting.
The characters are well developed, whether it's Rhythm or Uncle Gourd or Cooper or Eva, who so ever it is, they really have a very strong personality and base which makes the reader think about them as real while reading it.
The book is written in a very simple language that's easily understood but there are a lot of new terms you will come across and learn about while reading it, if you are a science enthusiast, you're sure to fall in love with it. The chapters are very crisp, like after every chapter I felt a need to get started with the next one, even though it's a 300+ pages book it felt very fast and gripping.

You can read it even if you haven't read the first one but definitely take you some time to actually get into the story so it's better if you read the book one and come to it. The Electon world is not just captivating but also filled with uncertainties.
The illustrations added so well to the storyline and it encourages more visual ability of the readers. I truly enjoyed it and I definitely feel it reminds me of all the amazing fantasy books like HP and thrilling adventure stories like Nancy Drew but for sure it's one of it's kind.
Go for it. I will definitely recommend it.

This book has more adventure, twists, secrets, thrills but it has got more complex scenarios and more network and electronics related matters were involved. So, if they interests you, this book will really be an exciting one.

This is the 2nd installment of the science fiction series, Rhythm Roger by the versatile author Himanshu Rai. In the first part of the series an imaginary world of electromagnetic waves, Electron has been created which coexists parallely with our world.
This part starts with an intruder from Electron searching frantically the father the Electron who lives in our world. And then on a one fine morning Rhythm, a boy from our world whose age is 10 years in Electron (time travel 🤩) has been called back to Arc Rotunda. On returning, this time he discovered histories, new rules and certain changes in Arc Rotunda. When he got lost from Phantasmagoria zone then another set of adventure and unfurling of mysteries begun.

He conveyed a great message through this novel which is 'Science is a blessing as well as a curse'. Any misuse of science can be fatal because science can create as well as destroy. The story begins in the city of Bonn in North Rhine-Westphalia, when a man is being followed by someone. As he gets into a silent lane, the person following him, appears in front but to his surprise he doesn't have any shape or face at all. He's just someone who was an unknown force but was invisible. He learns that the invisible power is in search of his father, thinking him as the father he followed the man but turned out he isn't. After few exchange of questions and words, the unknown power didn't hesitate to kill the man in front.
While on the other end, Henrich and Moonus talks about a danger that has chances to happen very soon, the invisible force comes in and kills Moonus, leaving Henrich confused about who it was. He later learnt it was noise, whom Henrich didn't want to have in the world of Electon.
A lil further, on the other side, Rhythm is spending time with his Uncle Gourd when suddenly he recieves a message from Arch Rotunda, asking him to get back to the World of Electon. Rhythm gets all excited, unknown to the fact that there's a new conspiracy against Rhythm kept to trap him. But, WHY?
And, what would noise do to get into the world of Electon, as he seems to be so powerful to take over anyone. Do you think he would be able to step in Electon?

I loved reading it. The first two pages made me go from WHAT to WOAHHHH. This was on a different level. Everything about this book was so so captivating. The language of the book is lucid, hence easily understandable for anyone who reads. Every chapters and scenes were framed so acutely. Loved it completely.
For someone who's into science fiction, this would be an amazing pick for you. ❤

Well, I have read the first part last year, and since then, I was waiting to read the second part as the first part of the book leaves you with a lot of questions stirring in your mind, and the best part about the sequel is it is damn confounding to read.
⭐The author has done a brilliant job in writing this book with the narration on point to keep the young readers engaged with this thrilling storyline. Also, the illustrations shared alongside the chapters help in the storytelling and appeal to the kids. The language is lucid and easy to understand as well. The various characters of the book have been beautifully etched out and hold their place in the plot. The author weaves his magic by creating this fictional electron world that will leave you hooked and mesmerized. This book is recommended to folks who enjoy reading Sci-Fi and mystery genre books.

After finishing part -1 of this book it was difficult to resist reading part 2. As I was sure that next part would be more exciting and thrilling of this hi-tech book.
Author @authourhimanshurai continued to efficiently use technology in the second part of the book and also emphasized the importance of in-person activities, real friends out the side the virtual world.
The second part starts with Rhythm and his uncle receiving the message from the Arch Rotunda to come back to Electon’s World. The whole story moves around Electon, Rhythm, Roger, Mr. Noah, Cooper and other new characters. Through the book many characters had been coming to the Earth for millions of years, some came for help, some to develop Earth for their future, some to conquer and rule Earth. And they helped humans to discover technologies, to look into their future and explore. Consequently, the Dark side again wants to establish their wrong intentions and Dslots or gets trapped in a web of conspiracy.
It's a fascinating plot with a mix of thrilling adventure and sci-fi all put together. I must say, the second book is also well-researched, right to the minutest details. I'm sure this is a refreshing read. This is a good read for people who always love comic strips and comics then it will be the best read for you.
I can correlate this book with any Hollywood fiction movie. Hats off to the author @himanshurai for his other contribution in writing to this magnificent book.
Written in an easy and simple language, but you may need to help of Google to understand some scientific jargon. It touches upon many different themes all at once with illustrations.
Go ahead and check the series of this book !!!!! Overall I love the intense book.

This book is the second part of Rhythm Roger. I enjoyed the second part more than the first part. It has more details and more information to give.
I really love those books that is a fiction which has got real life situations connected to it. Many of the events are real and some are history. And the author has very cunningly moulded everything into a exciting story. It's impressive how the author has connected all the real events with a plot twist making the story more engaging.
As a Potterhead I can definitely see the connection the author has included. In first book too I said it felt like Harry Potter and in this second book I can feel it even more. I felt like reading Harry Potter in some parts but in a very different manner. Instead of magic you got Science here. Like every spell or the other things has a clear explanation of how and why it works in a science version. But it's really fascinating to read the science version of your favorite book and started liking it too.
I definitely can't go without saying that there are lessons to learn too. You will come to know about some scientific facts, some events and some history that will push you to read those events separately for your knowledge or for your interest. Like I wanted to read about Gilgamesh and finding it in this books made me more excited to read it.

If you haven't read the first one I recommend you to do so because you'll feel connected while reading this one and will understand it better.
The story starts when one morning Rhythm is spending time with uncle Gourd, he receives a message from Arch Rotunda asking him to be back to the world of electons. As he travels back to Arch he makes a new friend Aofie who introduces him to the deeper secrets of this world of electromagnetic waves - Electon. He gets into a new conspiracy planned by DSlots and gets trapped in an unknown imaginary world. Cooper, Olivia, and Eva set out to save Rhythm before it's too late.

Book 2 of Rhythm Roger comes with even more surprising elements and the deepest secrets adhered to Electon's sustenance and it's primary motive of saving humans.
Ethan of Phantasmagoria zone, King Giglamesh, Googol, Bernhard castle added a new vigour to the story. With so much to grasp and with many thrilling adventures, this book offers double fantasy to readers.
Rhythm, on Shibboleth day is lost with his crony. Eva, Cooper and Olivia tries to find him in Phantasmagoria zone.
How is he rescued?
Meanwhile Googol diverts everyone's attention and plans something evil.
How will Rhythm and his team save the Electon from the wrath of D-slots?
The minute of efforts put by the author is quite evident with each chapter in this book. I appreciate the way he made good use of technological terms adding glitters to the story. The illustrations were quite handy besides adding beauty to the chapters and aiding the readers with imagination. However in this part, there is double physics along with fantasy for readers to comprehend. The author elaborating every element that was in book 1 is so thoughtful. It's for reminiscing the elements if you took a gap after reading book 1. I loved the way he weaved the plot with a pensive storyline. If it was made into a webseries or a movie, that would leave a lasting impression on people.

AVALONIA!!!
Rhythm Roger is my all time favourite science fiction. The imaginary world of this story stays on my mind rentlessly and I wish I got to see Electon world and live in it.
This book is second part to the book 1, and here also the clashes between V slots and D slots are continued with the same enthusiasm but many other twists. V slots and D slots are members of this Electon world. And our protagonist "Roger" ( "Rhythm" in the real world) is one of the main target of D slots and Noise. And in this part Rhythm falls in a new trap and gets trapped in an imaginary world. His friends and V slots are continuously searching for him and he's desperately trying to get out of that place.
What is that place ?
What factors got him trapped there?
How will he get out of there ?
What secrets are going to be revealed in that world?
All these answers hold essence of the story.
This part is equally gripping like the first one and has fulfilled my expectations. The best part about a science fiction is the detailed description of theories of sciences but still making it interesting rather than boring. The story is unpredictable, full of twists, fast paced and gripping. I recommend to not to judge the story by starting chapters, it becomes more interesting as it proceeds midway.
The story is carried out very smoothly in the second part as well, and makes us recall the small details we forgot after reading the first part.
Reading the first part is mandatory to understand and enjoy the story.
This book along with the first one can be the perfect gift to your teenager and is must have for anyone who has interest in sci fi and is above 10 years of age.

Rhythm Rogers is back with another adventure in the world of Electon.
All is well and merry in Electon but Dslots were stirring conspiracy to trap Rhythm. Will his friends be able to save him and Electon?
I was eagerly waiting for the second part of the series and it lived upto my expectations. This part is one step ahead full of thrilling adventure as that in the first book. The plot is captivating and will keep you hooked on till the end. There are many characters and every one of them has something to contribute to the story, even the cat, Concha. The message delivery system from Electon is one of the most interesting things. There are many other events in the story which will leave you wonder and the narration is clean to help a reader picturise the whole scene. The artwork is a plus point and designed beautifully to capture the essence of the narration.
Essentially being a children's book, it introduces them with a trunk full of facts about many scientific terms and developments in the history of humankind, making it a fun read for adults as well.
I felt it was a little bit Harry Potter inspired but the detailing were splendid, like, the vehicle in which Rhythm travels to Electon is super amazing.
Finally we have an author who can write strong sci-fi books and give competition to author's outside India.
I would personally love to see the series converted into an animated series or a movie maybe, to see these characters come alive.
Highly recommended for sci-fi lovers.

My take: I really enjoyed the fresh, new concept in book 1 & was eager to delve in book 2. Gradually, big & small mysteries unfold.. 1st Rhythm, then his uncle & now his cat..mili has been taken away by bumblebee.. noise is looking for his father.. the vivid descriptions & the graphics are an icing to the cake. An engaging read for kids & adults, alike. Dslots, vslots..the conspiracies..the saviours..the action, the drama..all of it is so welcome! Read it for a action filled, magical experience.

Well!! Well!! As if it wasn't exciting enough to read Part two of your favorite read, it turning out to be twice more rip-roaring and perfect is the icing on the cake.
Our author has surely met the expectations of the readers, including mine. To simply say I loved this book, it is surely an upgrade.
As I've said before and read before, I am always awestruck by the imagination and ability of our writer to put those thoughts into words
The characters are strongly written with well-balanced interdependencies and harmonic relationships.
Some scenes are described so well that my mind pictures a marvel/DC superhero hit. I loved the perpetual thrill and story development.
The interesting fight with photon particles at Stanford. The traveling segment and conversations. The scene where the rescue happens, the list is endless.
Eager to read the next part.

Well!! Well!! As if it wasn't exciting enough to read Part two of your favorite read, it turning out to be twice more rip-roaring and perfect is the icing on the cake.
Our author has surely met the expectations of the readers, including mine. To simply say I loved this book, it is surely an upgrade.

The characters are strongly written with well-balanced interdependencies and harmonic relationships.
Some scenes are described so well that my mind pictures a marvel/DC superhero hit. I loved the perpetual thrill and story development.
The interesting fight with photon particles at Stanford. The traveling segment and conversations. The scene where the rescue happens, the list is endless.
Eager to read the next part.
