Book 1: A Snake's Life ⭐⭐⭐
This felt ungrounded and geared towards a younger crowd when it started, but how sexual assault was conveyed had me second guessing the target audience.
The start reads like the start of some (anti)hero's journey. All the usual details are assumed and not addressed. The character just roles with it, asks no questions. Some rando entity talking to you after you died? Sure. Sell your soul and humanity in exchange for a chance to see your deceased wife some time in the future in another world, in a different body? Why not.
No questions asked. What's a soul? Will you remain 'you' if you give up your humanity? Will you even still care about your dead wife at that point? Why? Why are you being offered this? What's in it for this deity?
He asked nothing, wondered nothing but acquiesced to everything. So odd
Book 2 - A Snake's Path: ⭐⭐⭐
The nonsensical continues. How does a stranger to this world gain so much physical power that he overpowers everyone even though he hasn't been here long and wasn't taught anything? But aight, he gets a teacher in this book, cool. Since he never learned the basics he's got some catching up to do. He masters techniques welps master before leaving the nest. And somehow this makes him OP. Him finally learning a neat trick everyone with a semblance of strength and power knows somehow makes him the god of this domain? How does that even remotely make sense? XD
Book 3 - A Snake's Rise: ⭐⭐⭐
This one was a great penultimate draft. The author might've gotten lazy in keeping his story straight and so did I. Whenever something didn't quite add up or there was a plot hole, i just rolled with it; assuming somewhere out there, there's a version of this book that more polished and makes more sense.
When was the wife replaced by a body double? How does this effect her relationship with MC? (When/)Did they resolve things? 🙄
The whole judges thing... so they're above the gods? What's the point of having gods, angels and demons if gods aren't at the top of the food chain, angels are evil and demons are pets? The lack of explanation made sense in book 1 where the author used common tropes to build his world. But once you start to deviate from the norm, you kinda gotta do some explaining and proper world building. This books could've been so much better with all the promising plot choices it makes, but sadly it left a lot to be desired.

Torga destroyer of world’s
What happens when you are given the chance to reunite with your wife after she was killed. Torga finds himself in an unknown world where he has to learn to survive. He has to satisfy a hunger in himself. Through each test he grows stronger. Meeting people he calls family. Fighting beasts. Torga becomes a god. These books are incredible. So on my books to recommend.
