One Fan at a Time
Annette is an award-winning author, published by Affinity Rainbow Publications, who lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her wife and their five furry kids. With over thirty published novels, four Lesfic Bard finalist awards, two Lesfic Bard Awards, and one Goldie Award for her fourth novel, Locked Inside, she finally feels like a real author. Annette is as much a reader as a writer and always looking for the next lesfic novel to cue up. She came up with the One Fan at a Time tagline because it rolled off the tongue much better than One Reader at a Time. After pondering who she was at her core, it was all about connecting to each reader on a personal level. She would be the first to admit she doesn't do well with the masses. If someone picks up her book and it touches them she believes she has achieved what she wants with her writing by reaching each reader. It is who she is at her core. It’s always fun with the book magicians and witches!!!
Back with Elle and Tanya, as they are joined by old acquaintance, Imara, and new friend, Jaiden on a whole new adventure. Jumping in and out of stories and making the impossible happen, Imara and Jaiden learn all about each other and their past, learning unimaginable coincidences and putting right the wrongs being caused by some sneaky villains.
I loved this sequel to The Book Addict, but don’t worry if you haven’t read that yet (although you should!) because this story works equally well standalone. I adore getting a new story from Annette Mori, her imagination and creativity know no bounds. She has a fun and quirky writing style that brings out the most amazing things and her humour is right there injecting the story with all the fun and excitement you could want. With Imara and Jai not only are we seeing sparks of a relationship, but we are going on one hell of an adventure. I just had so much fun reading this story. It’s just brilliant!
It was great to have old favourites with new and exciting characters to keep me intrigued. You really couldn’t say what was going to happen next. Magic, witches, warlocks, evil villains, this is just filled with everything you could need for a magical and super awesome adventure. Annette literally brings to life the unimaginable and she makes it so believable that you are left wishing you really were a part of the amazing world in which the book witches operate because it is just amazing! The possibilities of what they can do, what we could do if this was real, but Annette also balances all of this with the negatives, the ways the power could be abused. It’s just so clever.
I really hope there will be more stories with these characters and in this universe. I need to know if they accomplish the impossible things they dream of and think possible, and I know there is more fun to be had! I highly recommend this adventure romance, it will leave you with some questions but it will have your heart racing with the excitement of it all!!!

Brilliant!
A riveting story of magicians, witches, a protector, spells, science, old enemies, obsessions, passion and a lot more. Never a dull moment for Tanya, Elle and all the others. I really liked it that several characters from her other stories turn up in this book. But most of all, I loved seeing more of Dani in this book and I hope the author will write a novel with Dani as the protagonist. A brilliant fantasy with a very unique story line, interesting characters and a core of romance running through it. Another excellent book by Annette Mori.

This book, rather than being a direct continuation of The Book Addict, which introduces us to Tanya and Elle, this is the story of Jaiden (Jai) and Imara, who shares a past with Elle that isn’t all roses and their story of love, loss, and redemption. I do recommend anyone to read The Book Addict first, as it introduces a lot of the rules and ideas of this magic world but more than that, is a fantastic, moving read that is one of my top-favourites and is permanently on my re-read list.
We are introduced to more magic, spells, twists and turns and ultimately the struggle of good vs evil and love conquering all. I have to admit, I was hoping for a bit more Elle and Tanya, but Imara and Jai soon took over for their interesting and not-perfect relationship. The book is written in a quirky, often off-the-wall and sometimes heartbreakingly poetic way that makes me believe in magic and true love. I really like how we see Jai finding her inner strength and Imara growing into a conscientious and ultimately loyal person.
The side characters are wonderful as well! Imara’s power is that she can bring characters to life, and I loved meeting Dani and Val and the rest of the gang, including a surprise cameo by a very special person that we who have read anything by Ms. Mori all are acquainted with—who is it? You’ll have to read the book to find out!
A really superb series and a fascinating read that is beautiful, soothing and extremely entertaining. I would love to be able to step into the magical world of this book even for just a day.

"What if someone had the power to bring characters from a book to life…should they be allowed to glimpse reality?"
Okay, that's a quote from the blurb, and I'll just say that this book is whacked out. While the premise of stepping into a book--or characters stepping out of it--is nothing new, there are always twists on the tried and true, and the author takes that trope and turns it on its head. Clearly, Ms. Mori went to town on magic, romance, action, romance--oh, wait, mentioned that before--and well, the results are magical.
I will not spoil any surprises for fans of Ms. Mori, but I will say that The Book Witch contains a steady narrative pace, sharply drawn characters--Elle and Imara, in particular, and Imara made me want to kick her keister from here to eternity at times--good, natural sounding dialogue, and has a nice ending.
Formatting-wise, there were a few glitches in the PDF copy I got, mainly some missing punctuation: commas, using brackets--and that's a pet peeve of mine--and I think a few paragraphs could have been separated better--but it didn't stop me from enjoying the novel.
Worth it. Even if you've never read lesfic before, guaranteed you'll like this.

Magic and love, a great combination for a great story!!!
Ms. Annette Mori marries intelligence and humor to create a story worth reading. I read The Book Addict a while back and loved it and couldn’t wait for the second installment. Well, I wasn’t disappointed. As a matter of fact, Ms. Mori never disappoints her readers. The author knows perfectly well how to use words to devise plots full of vivid imagination. Her new characters, Imara and Jei, are not perfect, yet their imperfection makes them real. There is also a sweet bonus which I can’t reveal. Let’s hope that another installment is coming.

Charming follow-up
I continue to enjoy this series. The adventure is the primary focus, the slow burn romance is the lesser priority. This is a refreshing change from purely romantic novels.
Something really appealing to me in this book was the fact that I was stationed at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, in Oak Harbor, from1997 to the end of 2001. My time there was during DADT, and I was somewhat out at work, but my friends and I were fairly safe from enforcement of that policy. I'm sure that a lot has changed since then, but it was really nice to think back about my favorite duty station.

Interesting is the best way to describe this book... so far, out off all the books thus far that will lead me to the final conclusion, this has been the only one were I lost interest at certain parts. I'm sure it was challenging to the author to capture the insane parts of the characters of the book with this books character and her as the author... yes, confusing - right?!
Well, at least I am now able to start the final book of both series, which is was started all this. I am looking forward to finally have my Dani's story.

Book spell💓
This is a very well written tale about finding love. The characters are well developed, and the storyline flows from the pages. If you are looking for a feel-good tale of lesbian love with a happily ever after, this book belongs on your must-read list. I also loved that Dan I and the girls had a small part in the book. Ohhh Poopbiscuit please bring on a new width and another organization book. I definitely recommend this book.

love the way Annette Mori thinks
I love authors that go outside of all the boxes. This series is not only page turning but brain twisting - just fabulous! The only problem is the book ends. Romance, adventure, engaging and wonderful characters, and a story that you have to read to understand.

Good crossover booj
The magicians of The Book Addict & the assets of The Organization together in one story.
A good, entertaining story with interesting characters. It was a very enjoyable & easy to read. Anticipating Dani's part of this series.

Delightful read
Delightful follow up to the Book Addict. This universe is easy to fall into and the characters are nicely developed. I hope to see more of this magic universe!
