St. Louis weatherman Cole Celinksi lost his family in an accident and has been told to take three months off of work, so he goes back to a place he hasn't been since he was a teen. He finds his old friend Maggie running the Lake Dreams Resort and raising her teenagers Kiefer and Kaitlin alone. I enjoyed seeing their story come together. It is well written with a very good storyline. This is a new Author to me. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Overall I liked the plot and the characters were well written. I didn't like Maggie's family members and how they treated her, or Cole's Mum's previous behaviour. The 'dreams' and 'fey' elements put me off and they seemed at odd to the religious side of the book. I'm glad there was an epilogue to conclude the book. .
