Although Camila lives near many exciting things, it is only now that she begins to explore new activities that help her tap into her inner warrior. Camila also learns courage from the everyday people that surround her. Camila is encouraged by her Mama to begin taking martial arts classes. Although the sport is at first intimidating, together they ride the waves of excitement, fear, disappointment, until she finally taps into her "inner warrior" and ultimately finds her courage.

This charming gentle story encourages kids to try new things and to be brave while shedding light on the variety of ways seemingly ordinary people show bravery.
