A brief but enightening tour about how nazism took some roots in south America, and a lot of anecdotes about spies, failed attacks, the nazis that after the war took refuge in countries like Argentina or Paraguay, that somehow helps to demistify and at the same time make one wonder about the later influence of nazism in latin america. There are a lot of interrogants left after reading this: why the Red Cross issued passports to some nazis? What about those catholic ecclesiarchs who helped the nazis? What about the "missing" nazis that are suspected of emigration to latin america? Still lots of questions, but this text helps to kindle curiosity about this not so known part of latin american history.
