For readers who aren't at the level of chapter books, this is a great series of books. The Ogs are a family of cavepeople who find themselves in a flood that's taken their precious Grandma Og down the river! Each family member tries to create a way to save her, but it's not until Grandpa Og sees a floating turtle that he gets a brainstorm of an idea. Each page is fully illustrated with graphic novelties that will keep the reader entertained. As a bonus, each page has a question for the reader so they can look at the illustration and try to find the answer. A great series for beginner readers!
