I was hoping for more from this book. I came in a skeptic but I always keep an open mind and hope to be at least a little convinced. This book has some case studies (not confirmed) of the author being able to see specific traumas from people’s pasts (details like being beaten on the wrist in the closet at four and then breaking the wrist skiing right before getting dumped later that explain a woman’s sudden bout of wrist pain later in life) that then heal the person once they know the root cause. I just didn’t buy it. I would say her sudden wrist pain did come from the site being previously broken and repeatedly abused, but I have a hard time believing the author had these very specific visions and I also really want to know if the patient had mentioned to the doctors who were baffled by her wrist pain that it had been previously broken and repeatedly beaten with a cane in childhood, because I think you wouldn’t need any kind of special powers to say that probably played a role.

Otherwise the vast majority of the book is the history of people proposing this science in various cultures, teachings and times. A few studies are mentioned but they feel incomplete. One short chapter tells how to use it to heal yourself but honestly there was one exercise that was a couple of paragraphs long and that was the only truly helpful information for me.

This book will be helpful for those who already believe in basically psychic medical abilities and want to learn more.

Well researched

Excellent overview and vision for medical intuition and how it will play a role in the future of medicine. Wendie is doing great work. If your looking for a sophisticated practical guide and play by play to develop medical intuitive skills this is not it. This is rather a must read to understand medical intuition in the context of modern day wellness.
