50 pages of the most in-depth insights into Jewish thought I have encountered. A short book- but deep and impactful. Explores the limits of reason, Jewish thought versus Greek philosophy, The fallacies of relying on conventional morality, the limits of psychology and sociology in understanding religious thought and so much more.

A Jewish notion of the role of defiance and initiating versus adjusting and conforming- "the Abraham Complex", the role of Polarities in religious understanding and structuring our perceptions of reality, the core overlaps with Christianity and more.

A heavy heavy thoughtful read, but everywhere dense with unexpected insights
