Have you ever heard God’s voice in your mind, or wondered if you have? Violet has—twice. This stunning memoir places readers by her side during an ordinary life woven with extraordinary signs, whispers and miracles from God. Life often unfolds without the option of personal choice, like Violet’s learning disability or Lyme Disease. Genes, events and people shaped her, along with her own choices—some of which bent the rules of God and country.
Knowing God, why had she strayed? Cheater. Liar. Thief. Drug user. The right path beckoned. Love waited. She sat with loved ones as they crossed death’s threshold—a bittersweet honor. Accepting the losses proved more difficult. So, what happened?
Violet prays you will read this book as a self-help “novel”—a May you learn from her mistakes and recognize God’s hand in your world. Seek, and find joy underlining tragedy. May you witness signs, whispers, and miracles sewn into the fabric of your life and thrive with God. _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Amazon Reviewer, Richard Some musicians have perfect pitch—the ability to identify a musical note … just by listening to it. Violet Batejan has what I would call faultless faith–the ability to discern God everywhere in life, and to harken to His voice where many would hear only noise. This is her story... Be this is a tearjerker! But it's also a heart-warming story of a very full life bursting with lessons you will be unlikely to forget. Read this book, and be closer to God.
I was completely mesmerized by Violet's story from page one! It truly was hard for me to put down. An obviously gifted story teller, she weaves her story and faith masterfully into a fascinating saga that I personally identify with on multiple levels! So genuine. So real. A gift. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a great read, who is remotely in a relationship with God or who desires one, or just enjoys "truth". Thanks to this author for supernatural inspiration!
You certainly have the gift for writing, however we all have our stories to tell about our own life. I am not a Christian and do not think that miracles come from Jesus.I do believe in G-d and try to see the beauty in all religions. I am not saying you do not, but your story does totally involve your beliefs. I do not think your yoga story was necessary.
