Just when I thought things might go back to “normal”, I realize I have more demons than just my inner ones to fight.
The vampires, Blake, and I are forced to hunt Vex all over again, but the coven is at a loss. It takes another encounter with Vex to give me a new edge, and with the help from our new allies, I’m enlightened to what I can really do apart from Latresma.
The relationship between Blake and I begins to blossom, and so does my anxiety of his worsening condition. That, along with the chaos surrounding me, I have to leave the safety of the Sanctum to find the Mana Lune, a being of power that could help me reach my full potential and could even save Blake.
When Vex makes another successful attempt to slide into hell, the vampires and I must find a way to stop him before he can bring another demon, maybe even Arlos, back to Earth with him.
Even if it means going into hell after him.

She moved to Tennessee in 2001, where she later went on to study Psychology in Memphis. She’s been writing short stories and poems for as long as she can remember, but her YA fantasy novel Rise of Midnight is her first published work.

WOW this was so good. I think that this was better than book one. I could not put this down. I loved how this one went along. The author did an amazing job pulling me in while I read the story. The descriptions made the world feel real and I would love to see the as a movie. This is one of those series where you start reading and then wonder why you cant read anymore because the sun has gone down and you didn't realize you had been reading for hours.
