Just got it, read like mad for a class, I have to agree with the GIS consultant teaching the project class, if you have one book on GIS, this is the one you should have. And its readable!

So far, this has been a helpful, practical manual for initializing a GIS plan for any organization. Tomlinson's structure and practical examples aid in making these hard to grasp concepts easier to conceptualize :)

Read this for a class and to be honest it is one of the better easier to read books on managerial gis procedures. This book is a great reference when setting up a gis for any sized company.
