I don’t really have any feelings towards this novel, it was okay, a good past time read if you’re looking for something quick and easy, or just have a book to add to your Goodreads challenge.
I just wished with the main character’s training and trying to get her memories back it would feel more rewarding, like it actually showed you, as a reader, the full process she went through to get to the point of remembering her past. I just feel like it would have more of an emotional affect on me, because, honestly, I didn’t really care, she was kinda annoying and asked questions that were just answered by someone.
The writing tended to get cringey and most of the characters were just babies, like they’re adults acting like actual children! It was annoying and frustrating to read.
Also the love interest and the main character’s relationship, I felt didn’t show them actually falling for each other. I just wished it had more moments just getting to know each other and actually showing them developing feelings.
Anyway, this book has a lot of potential if it wasn’t cringey.
