Rosemary Bell’s had a lot to deal with since moving to Mosswood. It’s not every day you learn you’re a witch Queen, or that an ancient magical prophecy exists to mess with your love life. Now that she’s accepted her powers, set up her business and married the fated love of her life, she should be riding a gravy train with biscuit wheels. Right? Nope. The death of a dear friend prompts Rosie to restore the honor of her family legacy, while also seeking revenge against the evil wizard Morgana. Together with her family and gang of loyal friends, Rosie tries to win back the favor of the formidable Council of Witches. But when a weekend witchapalooza at Fox Cottage turns into a bloodbath, it seems all hope of getting them to accept her is lost. Rosie faces off against the Council to fight for the power her magical line once had. Some alliances are formed, while others seem dissolved. And then a mysterious necklace that saw Rosie on the brink of death once before comes back into the picture… literally. When the chips are down, it’s time for Rosie to show the Council of Witches–and the rest of the world–that they can’t witch this. The Witches of Eastwick meets The Seeker in this novel about accepting the past, creating the future, and stepping into your power.
I love this series every bit as much as I did in the beginning! Rosie’s adventures are Magical, exciting, and full of heart. You’ll never expect the twist at the end of this installment.
Wizards and vampires, and hormonal teens oh my 😉. That's the tip of the iceberg in this gem of a read. Still dealing with the heartbreak of losing her dear friend, Rosie and family return to Mosswood. Expect the typical snark and humor, crazy shenanigans and one fierce mama bear with magical powers...determined to gain her seat on the council to help change things for the better in the world of magick. Now if only she can get those darned corrupt COW to listen 😉. If at first ya don't succeed maybe your magical drag queen might give ya a little assist? Take the journey and see what mischief Rosie gets up to...it is oh soooooo worth it!!!! I can't get enough of Rosie, Declan and all their family/friends!!!! Welcome to Mosswood indeed and come back often.
For the ninth book of the Mosswood series, Louisa manages to keep it fresh and intriguing with ease. Rosie goes before the Council of Witches after Carol Ann's loss to ask for her family's seat. As they think about it, she invites them to Mosswood and mayhem ensues. Her interactions with the witch's Council were captivating. I was happy to see all the familiar characters in this book, even Bunny from her Celestial series. My own personal preference would have been more Declan, never enough! The series continues to keep you absorbed and quickly reading to get to a great end. I look forward to the next book in this delightful world. I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest opinion.
In Can't Witch This Rosie and family have returned from Ireland and the loss of a dear friend. With Carol Ann's death, Rosie finally realizes it is time she take back control of her rightful magical family power. After all she is a queen. However, to do this she has to get the Council of Witches to let her back in and that is going to be a lot easier said than done. Louisa West has written yet another great story to continue her Mosswood series. All her beloved characters are back and it is so fun to watch them as they continue to develop and grow. They truly are one big family... one I am going to miss once Rosie's story is complete. For now I can't wait for the next book! I really love this series!
So many new developments in this book! Rosie invites the witch council to fox cottage in Mosswood to get to know her and her family to help them better be able to vote on whether or not Rosie can have her seat on the council back. Things are going well until they are not and they are all under attack. Carol-Ann leaves a few final surprises for Rosie after her untimely demise. Let's just say a picture is worth a thousand words..... This was an awesome book and continuation of the series. Many questions are answered and things aren't always as they seem. Hopefully, all is well that ends well but, probably not.... I highly recommend this book and series. I know the series will be ending soon and I will be sad to read the end!
Can't Witch This by Louisa West WOW, this latest release in The Mosswood Series is it have to say perhaps my very favorite. With only one more to come....sad face emoji, this book was jam packed with a lot of excitement, beginning to end. There was such frustration that Rosie seemed to be spurred at every turn in her attempt to reclaim her rightful seat as a Queen and be on the Witches Council. Poo But as we know in these wonderful books, good does prevail...at least for a while. Tons of great side stories and characters within this book as well. Loved it!!!
This new addition to the series is great. It answers some questions you may have about Declan's family. You see Gabe becoming more adult. Rosie is still a take charge lady. The story picks up where the previous book left off. We get introduced to some very interesting characters from COW. My only complaint about this book was that I read it too fast and now I have to wait for the next one! I received an advance reader copy in exchange for my honest review.
I love traveling to Mosswood through Louisa West's words. Rosie's story picks up immediately from its stopping point and continues through to see if she'll be reinstated to her family throne on the council. My favorite Mosswood "villain" is still Prissy, and I love the moment she and Rosie have! Of course, Morgana is still on the loose and nothing ever goes easy for Rosie and her family. Fun story, fast paced, and ends with an interesting hook for the next book.
Rosie & Family are back again and the magic world is trying again to kick Rosie’s butt! The Killarney honeymoon didn’t end well, Rosie & Declan have returned to Mosswood. Rosie is struggling with the loss of Carol Anne & the hurt her family have experienced. Rosie is ready to kick someone else’s butt, mainly The COW!! This is a must read addition Midlife in Mosswood!! I received an ARC & this is my personal opinion!
I loved this book! I love it when a woman stands up for herself, and facing off against COW was just what Rosie needed to do. Plus, having COW be in the book means I get reunited with one of my favorite side characters, Hella. I'm beyond thrilled with how this one turned out, and I can't wait to see what happens next to all our sassy little southerners!
I loved every book in this series! I love how Rosie wants to fix things, but in order to do that, she needs to be in a position to make changes. Louisa has a magical touch to all the books she has written thus far, and I can't wait to see where the next adventure in Mosswood takes us. Grab this whole series and binge read it, trust me, it's worth it!!💜
Rosie is one kick ass witch who is determined to get a seat back on the witches council, particularly since the passing of her friend. Someone is sabotaging her efforts from within the council. She must play the game and find out who. Always exciting and imaginative events in the Mosswood series . Good read indeed.
I wonder what else Morgana can do to Rosie and her family in the upcoming books. Crazy to think that, what a year ago (in the series) she was living as a normal person, now she’s married, has a surprise stepson, is on a council of witches worldwide, and a business owner, oh and a witch. I wish I would have that kinda luck.

Rosie is looking to get back into the witches council and has to go through the requirements set forth, however it seems someone is trying to sabotage her, before the vote begins. Can Rosie and her crew figure out what is going on in time? She also has some surprising news and revelatory learnings, all of wish leads to a joyful reading. Off to read book 10.
I’ve enjoyed reading this series. Each book has an issue/ mystery to be solved. While in the background, relationship and family problems are addressed and resolved. And at the same time, the main heroine’s magic is getting stronger
This story is part of a series and you get the best out of it by reading it in order. I loved how the author has gained my attention and kept it until the end. I was gifted an ARC for an honest review.
This series is so good! I love going back to Mosswood and getting to see the characters grow and develop. The plot is well done and will keep you reading right up until the end! I can't wait for the next book!
Good to see returning characters like Fabiene and Francois, and to know better the members of the COW. Little by little, things are changing, and the family keeps growing.
I love Rosie's story, this book did not disappoint, even though Rosie and family encounters some difficulties, the love they have for each other shines through.
Absolutely enjoying each book of the series. This one dealt with Rosie and Declan joining the Council of Witches as was their legacy. Now looking forward to the book chaotic instalment.
