We will explore one of those passages in our Bible from the story of the woman who was caught in the act of adultery from John 7:53-8:11. We will answer the Can we trust this passage as inspired Scripture? Should we overlook this passage in our devotionals? Should we just ignore the brackets? Do these verses in John 7:53-8:11 contradict the rest of Scripture? Should we still preach this passage with confidence and apply the principles to our lives? In this short book, John explores the internal and external evidence for the validity of this passage in John's Gospel. He also shows that if this passage can be trusted, what can we learn from it? Studying these 12 verses, John does a simple exposition of John 7:53-8:11 and brings out 3 important characteristics of His humility, holiness, and grace. He also incorporates the church fathers and quotes throughout church history to support his work. By looking at the Person of Jesus, we can learn, by His strength and His Spirit, how to live humble, holy, and gracious lives and share these transforming truths with others.
