The Bird Who Forgot How to Sing is a 27-page illustrated children's book for ages 4-8, but it contains a topic of interest to older children too. It addresses the feelings of a bird who didn't know why he felt the way he did, not wanting to be with his friends, no desire to sing and then not remembering how to sing. He eventually regains his joy and his voice. Although it is a simple story with a side mystery, the reader may be able to identify with the bird's feelings. There is also a list of things to think about at the end of the book.
