Yuuna is in too deep. She thought she'd signed on to a standard reality dating show, but there's more at stake than money and status now as the battle royale gets bloody! The girls are whisked away to a villa on a private beach, determined to use swimsuits and cunning to bag the billionaire bachelor. Who will be eliminated first, and will she be sent home in a plane or a coffin?!
Not really sure how I felt about this volume. Things are kinda getting heated but I am trying to confirm if the characterization is poor or consistent (and I just dislike it).
Yuuna was a hikkikomori but has all these social skills and is confrontational (which isnt common with this trope that I've seen). Like, why bother making her a recluse when her character isnt shy/awkward, hesitant or unsure?
Also, why would Yuzuki partner with Yuuna only to betray her and never once ask for help? Why, if she wants to win, would she just accept anything that happens to her? The manga really tries hard to paint her as cowardly and weak (hides in her room and even wets herself when she sees someone going into Ida's room). But it just means she can be a pawn for anyone. But if Yuzuki KNOWS this about herself, wouldn't she have a strategy for navigating social situations in order to keep herself safe? Someone like this would become very manipulative or at the very least cleve enough to identify issues. (The manga get around this was insisting that she's not smart, and is slow to emotionally react to things).
It's just really frustrating!
I guess everyone else is fine?
Maybe I will check out vol 3 when it comes out and see if I should continue or not. I just feel like the characters arent dynamic, they just embody single issues or characteristics. Maybe that will change as we go?

The murder-mystery was resolved unpredictably! I liked the outcome but the route to the conclusion dragged on and on.
The bachelor billionaire has introduced a ranking system in this volume, and whichever contestant has the lowest ranking by the end of each set period will be eliminated from the competition. The location is changed to a public beach (with a quintessential game of topless volleyball) where onlookers are free to look but not touch. One of the girls resorts to violence to rig the game and I did not care for that segment at all, but luckily it was brief. Seeing that her position in the rankings is in danger, lead Yuuna decides to fight fire with fire, and that's where the volume concludes.
I enjoyed the first volume more, I think, but I'm still into this series. I'll probably read the next one soon because my bookstore already had it on the shelves, even though it technically isn't released for another month. lol
4/5 I’m really starting to like this erotic thriller. It is absolutely borderline pornographic but it’s sexy as hell. The art is wonderful the cast of characters while full on raunchy are fun. The plot itself is absolutely ridiculous but it’s dark and twisted fun.
After one of the contestants is attacked we have a little mystery to solve. After that our ladies are shipped off to a beach for the first elimination contest. I’d say the bikinis are excellent but they don’t stay on for long.
Smutty Fun and Recommended if you’re into that sorta thing.
I didn't like this volume as much as the first one (I think because the expectations were higher), but it was still fun for what it was. Look forward to the next one.
Mikoto Yamaguchi writes an engaging thriller, while Mario's art is just gorgeous. The mystery from the previous volume is well done and nicely solved by this volume. The beautiful character designs are contrasted by their manipulations and personal flaws; especially the contestants. The face off at the end gave an exciting, yet fare take on the geek versus delinquent theme. I am eager to see how Yuuna navigates herself out her current predicament.
I thought this would be a light and funny read with lots of smut. As much as I love a good murder mystery, this manga series is a bit too dark for my taste. I do like to read dark mangas but I like horror more than violent. I appreciate the uniqueness of the story, it's very funny and over the top, but the direction isn't to my taste.
In this second book things got more juicier :0 I wasn’t expecting certain things to happen and things got more intense. And the characters get more serious and crazier overtime, definitely a good read
Continues to be a enthralling story with well written characters. Keeps having twists and turns all while bringing the lewdness to the forefront. Great series for echii, fanservice fans. I was waiting on this series but now I am all for it. Hope it gets an anime adaption later on.
I’m definitely still enjoying the manga and I’m kinda upset I don’t have volume three. But I do have volume four. And the next two come out by the end of the year. I think I’ll wait to read them and move on but the art and story are quality and I love them
There were a lot of boobs, but the storyline was actually rather interesting and I did not expect the plot twist with mystery and a killer on the loose in the villa.
