Seen: Wiltshire University Series Book 2

Rate this book
Cali may be out of the fire, but that doesn’t mean the heat is off.

Finn and Knoxx have been summoned to answer for their actions. The paparazzi and media are circling Kingston like vultures. People have questions, and they want answers. Tanner took pity on Cali, bringing Braxton, Bree, Knoxx, Finn, and Hoyt along for the ride; a decision they may regret.

Fallout from the fire isn’t Cali’s only problem. Already victim to a prank war in her own dorm, Cali finds herself in the middle of the first year crew’s saga. Can Cali remain Switzerland as the pranks continue to escalate, or will she be caught in the cross-hairs once again?

Gruesome scalpel work. New societies. Minor kidnappings. Death by glare. Just a typical day at Wiltshire.

Feeling guilty, homeless, and possessing only the clothes on her back, Cali tries to juggle the demanding Wiltshire academics, investigators who don’t think Cali is as innocent as she seems, a game with increasing stakes that Cali doesn’t know the rules to, and trying to hold on to the friends she’s made. Cali wanted to be seen, but this is not what she had in mind.

I really enjoyed Outcast and did a re-read before starting this book. If you don’t, that is fine - the first 14% of the book is the authors re-cap, nearly chapter by chapter. Thankfully that iso only like 82 pages out of 631, so we still have a thick book 😁The story the. Jumps in where Outcast left off - Cali is staying with Tanner and Braxton, and they are all dealing with the fallout of the fire. This story is slow burn, well really it is glacial ice age burn, and focuses almost entirely on the relationships between Cali and the guys and her friends - which I loved. I loved seeing the dynamics between them all and some of the conflict between groups, and I was glad that there was some discussion of what was going on, but Cali makes a lot of assumptions and theories in her head, and I feel like she has a lot of misunderstanding or misperceptions that the guys are not aware of. I really wanted her to ask some questions. She even has a thought that “oh, I didn’t realize they had siblings” but never asks any questions to get to know them. I also wish we had a couple POVs from the guys, because I have my own theories 😉The mystery related to the fire and original prank are only mentioned in passing at times. I read into the blurb that there would be more suspicion on Cali, and there really isn’t. Overall, I am enjoying the series, but I don’t feel like we’ve gotten many answers and Cali’s obliviousness and theories made me want to shake her at times. I am intrigued though and will watch for book 3 because I really want to know what’s going on.

Been waiting for this book, definitely didn’t disappoint!

This is one of my favorite series and I have been on the edge of my seat since book 1, and the wait was most definitely worth it.
Book 2 starts right after book one ends and has them trying to figure out the many twists and turns that happened at the end of book 1. I waited for my first day off and did nothing but read this book, it was absolutely amazing. Knoxx is still one of my favorites guys, not that they aren’t all amazing but something about big teddy bears just get me.
If you are unsure about starting this book, don’t be, it’s just so damn good I couldn’t stop. I want to talk about so many thing but hate it when people give spoilers in reviews, so all I will say is start it and love it like I did!

just wow

I love this series! Is it possible to have some kind of heart-a-stroke from waiting for a books release? I’m ready for the next one. These books are all consuming. I wanted to skip work to finish it. Can we start a go fund me to clone Lucie?
Definitely a glacial burn RH. The dialogue is so fun . I laughed repeatedly out loud.

forgot how much of the book there is nothing happening. this might be the slowest burn book i’ve ever read. and the FMC is so oblivious it’s actually wild. especially knowing there isn’t a third book I really regret rereading this.
