The Grief Workbook

The Grief Workbook is a fun way to unpack a serious grief. It has something for everyone - dark humor, some word games, opportunities to share memories of your loved one(s), and reflective prompts. It includes pages such as "Funeral Week Bingo," a "Loss-Word Puzzle" (crossword puzzle), and pages to unpack how grief is truly a mixed bag of emotions. This workbook can be used as a resource for individual reflection, for families to fill out and share about a mutual loss, for grief support groups, or for grievers to share with their supporters to shed some light on their grief process. It can also be used in correlation with therapy and for educating on grief.

"The Grief Workbook" by Bateman and Lomboy-Lowe is part art journal, part therapeutic guide that also includes puzzles, fill-in-the-blank pages, and plenty of space for writing reflections, lovingly designed for those dealing with grief and loss. The workbook offers a semi-structured approach to navigating grief's complex emotions and challenges. Readers are encouraged to explore their feelings, memories, and experiences through exercises, reflections, and activities. The authors provide simple and practical ways to manage stress and honor and remember loved ones. The workbook is a useful resource that offers straightforward opportunities to process the range of emotions that grief evokes.

This book is fantastic for folks trying to process grief. It's a largely taboo subject, but we all go through it and need support and resources for when it hits us. Thank you to the authors for making this wonderful resource!
