Rate this book

Fitzwilliam Darcy is in need of a holiday.

After the sudden death of Anne de Bourgh, and a series of small disasters at Pemberley, Fitzwilliam Darcy finds that he is in desperate need of a vacation. An acquaintance from his gentleman’s club offers to let him stay at his house in Brighton for a month to get away, an offer Darcy readily accepts. After packing his trunks and traveling for days, he arrives at the seaside house to discover a small feature in the home his friend neglected to mention…

Elizabeth Bennet Collins trusted the wrong man.

After the death of her husband, Elizabeth Bennet Collins was left alone with no home, no money, and only her five-year-old son, Edward. When a gentleman from London offers to marry her and care for her and her little boy, she accepts his offer of engagement happily. But when the man abandons Elizabeth and Edward in his house in Brighton, she is left to wonder if his intentions are real... especially when a stranger comes knocking on the door, claiming the house is his.

When two relative strangers are forced to share a property by the sea for one unexpected summer, will they discover there is more to be found in Brighton than just rejuvenating ocean air?

A Holiday in Brighton is a Pride and Prejudice variation with mistaken identities, enemies becoming friends, and unexpected seaside romance leading to a happy ending!

Very sweet book. However one thing irked me a bit, There are reperations made at Pemberley on the East Wing because a tree fall on the roof.. What is Darcy, the Master of Pemberley doing? He is going to London and afterwards directly to Brighton instead of maybe overseeing everything.
All in all, cute story but little rushed.

And very short story. It moved along very rapidly and was a bit unbelievable. However it was very sweet and entertaining.

Cute, short, to point

If you don't like previous marriage to that than D & E then don't read. If you want a cute clean and fast story proceed with reading. Loved little Edward
