I was on the fence with this set so buckle up there is suspense, sexy as all get out brutal (when needed alpha), fear, betrayal. Oh, and did I tell you it is dark and delicious? The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!

By the time you’ve figured out who is who and how much you hate and wish for harm on others or just a wake up call, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! You will start it and You will not put it down until the last page has been turned.
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
There will be some “OH NO HE DIDN’T”…..”OH WOW”…..”WHAT THE WHAT” moments they are not stand alone books. Giovanni Bianchi sexy as all get out powerful man and isn’t someone you want on your case; you don’t want to owe him anything and especially don’t want to make any promises to because he will ensure you keep that promise. Amelia is sweet, a fighter, loved her father but like most daughter really didn’t know what was going on, yet she is caught in the middle of it all without any protective armor so to speak but she does have one man looking out for her .
Dangerous Vows Amelia’s father stepped on the wrong side of Giovanni, while on his deathbed he made her promise to marry a man that she didn’t love, couldn’t stand, and knew deep down inside the man wasn’t a good guy who her father was making her promise to marry but he was dying but he also warned her against Giovanni but she needed the money and he offered a deal that she couldn’t refuse. She was hired on as a librarian by Gio, but he was out for revenge not realizing there was more to her or that her sweetness would draw him in none other before her and he realized he isn’t going to let her go she isn’t her father nor is she dishonest like the old man. Amelia realizes Gio brings out a side to her that she didn’t even know existed, but he also betrays her (or so she thinks ….is it really betrayal?)
Savage Legacy (picks up right where it left off) Gio opens showing Amelia a side to himself that is rarely seen by anyone, but she doesn’t believe any of it both are at each other’s throats. Gio realizes or more like accepting to himself that he is in love with Amelia and will do whatever, kill whomever to ensure she isn’t harmed in any shape, form, or fashion. He didn’t realize just how deep his love was for her until he hurt her causing her to run right into the very danger, he was attempting to protect her from will he get to her in time to protect her. Also, will Amelia finally see the truth of those who claim to love and care for her, or will she continue to run from the one man keeping her safe?
Twisted Bond (picks up right where it left off) Gio and Amelia are both extremely strong individuals but are stronger together but getting her on board is going to require some work. By work I mean truths, cold hard facts about everything no matter how hard or difficult it to accept the truth but in accepting the truth is their only ticket out so to speak. Their lives are dependent on their strength together but if you add to that the love, they both keep denying …well she keeps denying because Gio knows who/where his heart belongs with his girl. Gio will be there to help Amelia face and fight the demons of her father’s past as well as her own past he’ll be right there fighting with her because they both realize this is the only way they will be able to live (be warned there are parts to this book that will have you mad, ready to kick some butt, feeling the betrayal of someone who was supposed to love you) …really live but is it enough, will they figure it out together, will the only man who has really loved her come to her rescue, will she learn to forgive but above all will she learn to love?

The Italian Devil… 4.5 stars overall
This is a well written collection with intriguing characters and some dark themes. There’s plenty of drama, angst, emotion and some suspense in addition to several explicit encounters. I enjoyed the tie-in to the author’s Bratva Blood series, specifically, The Priest. I also enjoyed the vivid descriptions of Gio’s villa and the Italian countryside.
CRUEL PROMISE 5 stars
We first met Giovanni Bianchi in ‘The Priest’ and while I was intrigued by his devil-may-care attitude, it was obvious he was a man very much in control of all aspects of his life. With Cruel Promise, we get a better understanding of his wealth and power, along with the many secrets he keeps. We also meet Amelia, and understand his budding fascination with the innocent young American.
DANGEROUS VOW 5 stars
I enjoyed Amelia’s rebellion from her customary subservient behaviour as she found herself free from the influence and tight control of her grandmother. I liked that she finally found some spunk and spoke her mind to Giovanni, despite her employee status in his household.
SAVAGE LEGACY 4 stars
We find Amelia determined to harden her heart against Giovanni, while he in turn, is convinced he can once again win her favour despite the current standoff. Who will prevail?
TWISTED BOND 4 stars
I was anticipating considerable tension and conflict within this story as a result of the cliffhanger ending in the previous book, and came away somewhat disappointed in that regard. The main thrust of the story focused on repairing the fractured relationship between Amelia and Gio. There were some hard truths, realizations, and challenges before they eventually found their HEA.

Giovanni Bianchi is in the US as a favor to his father meeting with a man who is an old friend. The man wants a lot of money, and while Giovanni is a financier, and very rich, he initially refuses to the terms, but when the Amelia's father finally agrees the deal goes through. Giovanni can't help himself, he hopes the loan is not paid so he will have a reason to meet with the young woman he can't seem to forget. Amelia Marshall has known for a long time that she is expected to marry well and produce heirs to save her family legacy, but Amelia wants to marry for love. After her father dies she is invited to Italy by Giovanni to organize his personal library. She has never forgotten the handsome Italian, her first real kiss, and plans her escape from her controlling grandmother, and the man she is expected to marry.
I think these are fascinating, well written and compelling characters. They both have reasons to meet again, but they will have to overcome their basic differences before they can make a relationship work. Some action, suspense, and plenty of twists in this steamy romance that kept me reading from the first page to the last.

Every now and then you come across a book that ticks all your boxes and leaves you wanting more, and this is such a book. With an entertaining plot and characters that were interesting and memorable, I was totally consumed by the story from the beginning to the end. Giovanni was attracted to Amelia from their first meeting, but at the time, he knew she was too young for him. Three years later after the death of her father, he arranged for her to come work for him. The attraction between them was still there but so were the secrets her father had kept from her. This was an entertaining book that grabbed my attention from the first chapter and kept me reading far into the night. This book is part of a series, but can easily be read as a stand alone novel. Some of the characters featured in this book have their own story to tell and I intend to read their stories next.

Amelia has led a sheltered life. Her father is important but running out of money. When he makes a deal with Giovanni and Amelia runs into him at her house, Giovanni stars in her dreams. A few years later, after her father dies, Giovanni offers Amelia a job as a librarian at his house. Needing a solution to a problem and not liking the ones she currently has, Amelia jumps at the chance. If only she knew his intentions.

This box set starts off with a winning novella and then continues to deliver with even better books. Any fan of mafia or darker, alpha men will love this series.

Arc review I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.Giovanni bianchi the amalfa banker of the camorra is called to help Charles marshal with a loan only he makes a mistake and Giovanni will take his most precious thing.One thing Amilia is her determined , she ran from her family to become a librarian for gio .to not Marry a man she doesn't love, so what will she do to a man who swares vengeance on her father and uses her as a pawn she thinks. he wants her but has to play the game .she wants him but also hates him. This box set is fantastic these two will have you just wanting to not put the book down till the end and still wanting more . 10 stars.

This was a fabulous set of stories with a mafia theme. The author plunges you right into the heart of this world with riveting tension and suspense. It’s filled with drama, intrigue, darkness and palpable danger. The scenes were well crafted and very entertaining. I loved the dark, dominant characters who challenge you not to fall for them. The women who captured their attention got more than they bargained for yet also more than they hoped. This was a fascinating world which was captivating to read. I requested a copy of this box set and am voluntarily writing a review.

I loved this series so much because I love this type of book.
It made me go back and start this world SR Jones built from the very first book.
He will make you fall in love all over again.
You will be left with the best book hangover after reading this series, and then you'll wonder about all the other characters mentioned so much that you'll be like me if you haven't read the other books by this author and start them up too.

Its a dark romance and its a rollercoaster of emotion. The stories are well written, fast paced, with lots of chemistry; There's plenty of chemistry, dark romance, suspense, secrets, enemies, dramatic twists and turns in each book to captivate the reader! The dual POVs reveals intimately, their thoughts, feelings, and emotions as they explore their relationship, up's and downs, trials and tribulations, and obstacles. This is a boxset not to miss! Worth more than 5 stars.

Twisted Saga by S.R. Jones is a great Mafia Box set that has 4 books and totals almost 650 pages. This was a great 'one stop shop' for me as I love Mafia alpha theme romances. This is also a great way to discover a new author if you haven't read from this author before. Here are the books that you are getting is this box set: Cruel Promise, Dangerous Vow, Savage Legacy, and Twisted Bond.

Not really twisted
This was on okay read for me. I don’t think it was really all that twisted but it was decent enough. I almost dnf because it was rather slow at times but all in all I finished. I don’t think it’s a must to refer it as a must read to anyone It is what it is

A true to the title collection of twisted emotions, deception, obsession, and undeniable attraction! S.R. Jones take the heat to exceptional levels with every chapter. Amelia will be the envy of all as she finds out what Giovanni has in store for her in Italy and beyond. A fabulous series, I could not put down.
