Really excellent book. One of the best devotional books I've read for a long, long time. I love the way David Gooding writes. In this book, he explains numerous events in John's Gospel. These are such rich, profound meditations on Scripture, from a former Professor of Old Testament Greek, that is, the Septuagint, the Greek translation of the Old Testament. David Gooding was a scholar in the highest standing, and yet with a love for the Bible just like the simplest believer.

This is a devotional book on some passages from the book of John. As usual, David Gooding is an outstanding bible teacher. Thus, the book is highly recommended for anyone who is interested in biblical devotional literature.
