If you haven't read a book by Luci Fer, you are missing out. She has a way to make it impossible to put the book down.

The plot was good, but the execution could have been better. Story got bogged down with too much detail about the legal system. Story based in Chicago, but legal proceedings kept referring to the crown. Never thought I'd say too many sex scenes... yikes! It felt like they were written by formula and were too long, which wouldn't be an issue if they were erotic but they weren't

I read this series on a free reading platform when she first released these on there.
Absolutely FIRE 🔥 I loved it so much! The characters, the plot, the storyline, every single thing about it. From the beginning to the end! Luci Fer is an amazing author! I can’t wait for her to publish and release other books.
Her play on words is outstanding.
