Hickory dickory dock. The mouse ran up the clock. The clock struck eleven, and this was the moment the university freshman stressed out about uploading his project in time when he still had another three hours of work to do—Hickory dickory dock. It’s easy to feel there’s no rhyme or reason to what we do anymore in college. Our undergraduate schedules—inundated with an unmanageable quantity of fluff and should-dos—impel us to look down from the grandfather clock of a mid-semester crisis and wonder, “My goodness, what am I even doing here?” Lack of time-management skills in college is a problem. But more importantly, there is a solution; 130 of them, in fact. For this undertaking that doubled as his senior project, the author interviewed eight college success experts across the United States and compiled their answers into easy-to-apply tips to schedule your college life. Study, Sleep, Repeat divides college time management into five college routine, classes, homework, jobs, and leisure time, each with suggestions to make these areas more meaningful in an undergraduate career without burning you out.Time crises foil the good-natured plans of education, but despondency doesn’t have to be permanent. With a break here, a breath there, and a hickory dickory dock of preparation, you can make it. If you feel like a mindless mouse exhausted by racing against the clock for no apparent reason, this book is for you.

Time is something we all have and yet we don't. The correct way of expressing it should be, the time we have, how do we manage it? After all, one can only have twenty-four hours in a day and seven days a week. So if we are not learning sorcery to change the course of the earth's rotation we might as well ply ourselves to learn and manage the time that we have. Students and time are two things that do not quite respect each other. Students do not respect their deadlines enough and end up spending all-nighters just before it approaches and time is not decent enough to just increase its span and let the party tired binge-watching student just sleep till its noon.

This is a book brought upon us to bring some sense into our student's brains and learn to respect time. It's not easy but drops of water make an ocean. Just like the above analogy, little changes in our daily lifestyle are equally important as they might be able to do some damage control for the above lady or gentleman who just spent an all-nighter watching game of thrones and is now in sweet archaic dream visualising dragons and their mothers.

This is a practical book. It will give you no-nonsense instead of the facts that have been carefully accumulated as a part of a study on multiple noted individuals. The author has compiled one hundred and thirty such pointers which might be able to turn your tide and make you complain less about how less time you have on your hands. But then of course just reading words out of a book will not make you a timekeeper in a day. A day, because yes this book can be finished in a day but then again not ample time to groom yourself into a timekeeper. The language is fairly easy for all people to understand even though it is mentioned to be a college student's friend I found it interesting even as a working professional.

The college life is entirely different from school life. College life exposes us to new experiences and things which may be more challenging and dynamic aswell, that we were not familiar with earlier. Every student’s situation is different, but there are a few problems that almost all college students deal with the time management.

Many of us waste our time on things that are neither important nor necessary, instead of using that time for something of that is meaningful and productive.

The book has vigorously dealt with the plans and strategies that has equipped to make the time management possible. The book starts with the plans and its executions, at the same pace starting from the day. One must recall the statement.

“I have a fantastic day planned today,”

Further It has also suggested that one should wake up at the same time. Reviewing a plan is most important, Broadening of the vision. Recognizing the waste time. Making anti burnout strategies and schedule for oneself. He also discussed the Time chunking strategy which I found to be more effective. Prioritising the works and recognizing of highest priorities, he also dealt with the mental health Prioritising and scheduling self care which is more crucial in life. Read the complete book to unearth the complete Gem. It's really helpful.

The language of the book os easy and gripping. It has been designed in such a way that a non readers can also grasp the things easily. I have surely learnt many new things from the book. It has made tackling the things very easy. As a working professional parallelly completing my college, Somehow it becomes quiet messy. This read no doubt benefited me.
