When I ordered this book from Amazon I didn't realize it was written for/with the Smithsonian Institute. It's a meaty book with good vocabulary and beautiful pictures made of layered paper. I also like that it comes with a CD, but I do wish the song that went with the book had the same words as the book. I do like that the CD has multiple tracks and it includes a narration of the book and a separate narration of the glossary.

I'm excited to order more of Schwaeber's alphabet series.
